RESOLUTION A~uE~.gDli~C.- RESOLUTION OF AiTARD
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the resolution of award,
adopted by said City Council on the 16th day of July, 19~[, wherein a contract was awarded to ~cGuire
and Hester for the construction of an' '~utfall sewer, force main and sewage pure,ping plant in said city,
be amended as follows:
The paragraph of said resolution commencing with line 18 on page 3 of said reso~lution is here-
by amended so that said paragrat)h, as amended, will r~ad as follows:
This award is made upon the express condition that all priorities for the acquisition of all
materials necessary for said pr6ject can be obtained from the War Production Board and upon the further
coud~ tion that said City of South San Francisco will be able to acquire a right of way from the United
States of America for the portion of said project to be constructed upon the property of the Unite~
States of America, as shown upon sa~d plans; prov~ded, however, that, in the event that said city shall
not be able to obtain such right of way, or a revocable permit for the portion of said project to be
constn~cted in property of the United States of America, then no portion of said project shall be con-
structed easter~ from the easterly boundary line of the Bayshore Highway, and payment shall, in that
event, be ~made only for the port~on of said work which said ~cGuire amd Hester shall actually construct,
and no more.
