~tEREAS a central police stati on, now housed in the City Hall building of The City of $o..uth San Francisco
is, by reasoa o~ the increase of population of saJ.d city and the cons~:quent need for police services, inadequate
to me~t the requirements of said city at the present time;
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that. said City Council does hereby determine
that public interest and necessity demand the acqt~is:i, tion, constn~ction and ~rapletio~ by said C~ty of South
San Francisco, a municipal corporation, of a c~ntral police station and the acquisition of the necessary furnitur
and equf.pment for the same; t~t said fmprovem~nt is convenient and necessary to carry o~:t t~e objects, purf:oses
and ~owers of said city~ the estimated cost, of said improvement, together '~,~itk~ the necessary equipment for said
c~ntral police station, is Seventy-five Thousand Dollars (:~$7~,000.00), and that the cost of said i~:.provement and
said equipment is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary anmtal income and revenue of said City of
South San Francisco, and will, Jn addition to the other expenditures of said City of South San Francisco, exceed
th~ Income and r :venue for any one year.

Council of the City of South San Francisco this ~3rd day of July, 19~, by the following vote:
