WHEREAS, in th~ opinion oF the Cit~.. Council of said c_~ty, such road is essential to the welfare of
city and to the convenience of the inhabitants of sa~d city;
RESOLVED by said Ci~; Co~mci! that said City Council does hereby determine that public interest
and necessity ~emand the acquisition, construction and conple, tion by said City of South San Francisco,
a ;~u'~.J. cipal co_q~oratJon, of a road to con~ect the southerly portion of L~nden ~venue, in said city,
with E1 Camino Real. in said city; that said improvement is convenient and necessary to carry out the
objects, pur?oses 'and powers of said city~ that the estimated cost of said improvement is Sixty
Thousand Dollars (~60~O00.00), and that the cost of said improvement will be too great to be paid out
of the ordinary annual income and revenue of said City of South San Francis~o, and will, in addition
to the other exT~enditures of said City of South San Francisco, exceed the income and revenue £5r any
oneyea r.
I hereby certffy that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meetiag of
the City ~]ouncil of the ~ity of South San Francisco this 23rd day of July, 19~, by the following vote:
