HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1048-1945RESOLUTION FIXING TA~ P~A~E FOE FISCAL YEAR 1945 - 1946 RESOLVED by the City Co~ncil of the City of South San Francisco that the number of cents to be paid to said City of South San FrancL~co upon each One Hundred Dollars (~lO0.O0) of the property taxable by said municipality within said ~ity of South San Francisco, and hereby levied upon for the purposes of the several funds hereinafter named, for the fiscal year beginning July l, 1945, and end~ng June 30, 1946, be, and the same hereby are designated as follows: ON ALL PROPERTY CONTAINED WITHIN THE CRIGINAL CORPORATE BOU~DARI~$ OF SAID CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND ON ALL P~0PERTY CONTAINED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIED OF THE LAND ANNEXED TO SAID CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO BY A SPECIAL ELECTION HELD ON ~ARCH 13, 1916. General fund $ 1.00 Fund for the payment of the municipal improvement bonds, Series 1919 Library fund .10 Park fund Fund for Employees' Retirmment System .3O .15 Said City Council hereby fixes the rate of taxes of said city at the sum of one and 60/100--- dollars ($1.60 ) upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of the property taxable for said municipality and contained within the original corporate boundaries of said City of South San ~anci sco and on all property contained within th~ boundaries of the land annexed to said city by a special election held March 13, 1916, the same being the aggregate of the amo~n~t set opposite the foregoing funds, and hereby levies the sum of one and 60/100 dollars ( $ 1.60 ) upon each ~)ne Hundred Dollars ($ 100~OO) of the property mention~d in this paragraph and taxable by said municipality. ON ALL PROPERTY CONTAINED WITHIN THE ~OUNDARIES OF THE LAND DESCRIBED IN ORDINANCE NO. 209 OF SAID CITY ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF SOUTH~ WOOD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO", ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF SAID CITY ON THE 26TH DAY OF ~UGUST, 1940, AND ON ALL THE PROPERTY CONTAINED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LAND DES- CRIBED IN ORDINANCE NO. 215 OF SAID CITY E~TITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE ~TY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN- SISCO APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF SOUTHWOOD UNIT NO. 2 TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANdISCO',, ADOPT- ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF SAID CITY ON THE 1ST DAY OF DECemBER, 1941. General fund $ 1.00 Library Fund .10 Park fund .30 Fund for ~ployees' Retirement System .15 Said City Council hereby fixes the rate of taxes of s~id city at the sum of One and 55/100 Dollars ($ 1.55 ) upon each One Hundred Dollard ($100.00) of the property taxable by said municipality which is contained within the boundaries of the land described in said Ordinance No. 209 and likewise within the corporate boundaries of the land described in said Ordinance No. 215, the same being the aggregate of funds last hereinbefore set forth and hereby levies the sum of One and 55/100 Dollar~ ($ 1.55 ) upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100.O0) of all the property taxable by said municipality~ithin the bound- aries of the land described in said ordinances and orders the s~e to be colledted. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of ~he City of South San Francisco this 4th day of September, 1945, by the following vote: Ayes: Victor Boido, Charles K.
