A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY 00UNCIL AMENDING THE ESTABLISHED
PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF Tim CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FHA NC !SCO.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the "Established
Personnel Rules and Regulations of the City of South ~an Francisco", adopted by said City Council
on the 15th day of February, 1943, be, and the sam~ hereby are amended as follows:
Section I of Rule IVa, as ameoxied, shall read as follows:
Sec. 1. No person shall be eligible for appoin~ent as a ooliceman who is under the age
of twenty-one (21) years or who is over the age of thirty-five (35) years or is less than five (5)
feet nine (9) inches in height or weighs less than one hundred and sixty-five (165) pounds, stripped.
Section 2, of Rule IVa, as amended, shall read as follows:
Sec. 2. No person shall be eligible for appointment as a fireman who is under the age of
twenty-one (21) years or who is over the age of thirty-five (35) years or is less than five (5) feet
seven (7) inches in height or weighs less than one hundred and fifty (150) pounds, stripped.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 135h day of November, 1945, by the following
vote:
Ayes, Councilmen G.A. Anderson, M. Minucciani, George W. Holston.
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K. Elder
