HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1071-1946 PmSOLOTIO NO. moTo) RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO R~ERRING TO THE CITY PLA~ING CO~.~ISSION CEETAIN AREAS OF LAND FCH THE PURPOSE OF REZON-ING. Resolved by the Ci~ Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Planning Commission of said city be, and hereby is required to consider the areas of land hereinafter described, with a view to rezoning the same, and that said City Planning Con~nission recormnend to said City Council the regulations and restrictions to be emphasized therein with respect to the purposes for which each of said areas ~ay be used, in the event that each one of said areas may be rezoned. Said City Planning Co~nission is inst~acted to make a t~d~tive report ~*ith respect to each of said areas of land and to hold a public hearing thereon on the 6th day of March , 1946, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the Co~ncil~ Chamber in the City Hall in said city. After holding such hearing, said City Planning Commission shall submit its final report w~th reference to each of said areas of land. The land hereinbefore referred to consists of all those certain lot or parcels of land situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Nateo, State of California, and described as follows: PARCEL A All that certain real property situated in the City of ~outh San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Begin at a point on the ~uthwesterly line of Linden Avenue, as said Linden Avenue now exists in the City of South ~an Francisco, at its intersection with the westerly line of the right of way of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company; Running thence from said point of begi:ming North 63 degrees 22 minutes 30 seconds V;est, along said line of Linden Av~ue 316.26 feet to a point; thence on the arc of a curve to the left, tangent to said last mentioned course at said last mentioned point, having a radius of 249.90 feet, an arc distance of 96.78 feet to the most easterly coruer of that certain 0.5626 sore ~ct of land conveyed by South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company, a corporation, to Victor ~Lonati, by deed dated Omtober 28, 1930, and recorded November lC, 1930, in Book 504 of O~ficial Records at page 157, Records of San Mateo County, Califon]ia; thence leaving said line of Linden Avenue South 33 degrees 25 minutes 08 seconds Vfest, along the southeasterly line of said 0.5626 acre tract of land conveyed to Lonati, 158.58 feet to a point thereon;' said point being northeasterly at right angles 95.12 feet from the northeasterly line of Armour Avenue; thence South 56 degrees 34 ~,~inutes 52 seconds East, parallel with and 95.12 feet at ri!~t angles northeasterly from the northeasterly line of Armour Avenue 625 feet to the westerly line of the right of way of the Pacific Gas & El-ctric Comparo~, above mentioned; thence North 8 degrees 59 minutes 46 seconds West 312.95 feet, along said last mentioned t~ne to the point of beginning. Containing 2.43 acres of land, more or less, excepting therefrom an easement for storm water sewers and drainage 20 feet in width, said strip of land being adjacent to and 20 feet at right angles from the northwesterly and southwesterly boundaries of the herein described property.
