RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TtlE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO RF~ERRING TO THE CITY PLA.~ING CO~,$~IS$ION
CEETAIN AREAS OF LAND FSi THE PURPOSE OF REZO,~U_NG.
Resolved by the Cit~ Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Planning Commission
of said city be, and hereby is required to consider the areas of land hereinafter described, with a
view to rezoning the same, and that said City Planning ConEission recormnend to said City Council the
regulations and restrictions to be emphasized therein with respect to the purposes for which each of
said are~.s may be used, in the event that each one of ,said areas may be rezoned. Said City Planning
Conr~ission is instructed to make a t~%~tiYe report ~th respect to each of said areas of land and
to hold a public hearing thereon on the 6th day of March , 1946, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock
p.m., in the CoUncil,Chamber in the City Hall in said city. After holding such hearing, said City
Planning Con~nission shall submit it~ final report with reference to each of said areas of land.
The land hereinbefore referred to consists of all those certain lot or parcels of land situate
in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Nateo, State of California, and described as follows:
PARCEL A
All that certain real property situated in the City of ~outh San Francisco, County of San Mateo,
State of California, more particularly described as follows:
Begin at a point on the ~uthwesterly line of Linden Avenue, as said Linden Avenue now exists in
the City of South San Francisco, at its intersection with the westerly line of the right of way of
the Pacific Gas & Electric Company;
Running thence from said point of begi:ming North 63 degrees 22 minutes 30 seconds V;est, along
said line of Linden Avenue 316.26 feet to a point; thence on the arc of a curve to the left, tangent
to said last mentioned course at said last mentioned point, having a radius of 249.90 feet, an arc
distance of 96.78 feet to the most easterly coruer of that certain 0.5626 ~cre t~act of land conveyed
by South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company, a corporation, to Victor Lonati, by deed dated
O~tober 28, 1930, and recorded November lC, 1930, in Book 504 of O~ficial Records at page 157, Records
of San Mateo County, CalifoN~ia; thence leaving said line of Linden Avenue South 33 degrees 25 minutes
08 seconds V;est, along the southeasterly line of said 0.5626 acre tract of land conveyed to Lonati,
158.58 feet to a point thereon; said point being northeasterly at right angles 95.12 feet from the
northeasterly line of Armour Avenue; thence South 56 degrees 34 r, dnutes 52 seconds East, parallel with
and 95.12 feet at ri!~t angles northeasterly from the northeasterly line of Armour Avenue 625 feet to
the westerly line of the right of way of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company, above mentioned; thence
North ~ degrees 59 minutes 46 seconds West 312.95 feet, along said last mentioned t~ne to the point
of beginning.
Containing 2.43 acres of land, more or less, excepting therefrom an easement for storm water
sewers and drainage 20 feet in width, said strip of land being adjacent to and 20 feet at right angles
from the northwesterly and southwesterly boundaries of the herein described property.
PARCEL B
All that certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo,
State of California, and dewcribed as follows:
Begin at a point on the northeasterly line of Linden Avenue at its intersection with the westerly
line of the right of way of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company, as said Linden Avenue and s~id right
of way now exist in the City of South San Francisco;
Running thence from said point of beginning North $ degrees 59 minutes 46 seconds West, along
said Pacific Gas & Electric Company right of way line, 551.10 feet to a point thereon; Thence leaving
said last mentioned line South 26 degrees 37 minutes 30 seconds West 275.04 feet to a point; thence
North 32 degrees 16 minutes ~Vest;~78.79 feet to a point; thence North 74 degrees 27 minutes 59 seconds
West 90 feet to a point; thence South 15 degrees 32 minutes lO seconds West-113.67 feet to a point;
thence on the arc of a curve to the right, tangent to said lastmentioned cmurse at said last mentioned
point, having a radius of 150 fe:~t, an arc distance of 99.51 feet to a point; thence South 53 degrees
32 minutes 40 seconds West 120 feet, more or less, to a point on the northeasterly line of Hillside
Boulevard, as said boulevard now exists in the City of South San Francisco; thence southeasterly
along said line of Hillside Boulewrd 487 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the northerly
line of Linden ~.venue; thence easterly and southeasterly along said line of Linden .~venue 569.31 Feet,
more or less; to the point of beginning.

All that certain real property situate in the City of ~outh Sm~ Francisco, County ef San Mateo,
State of California, and described as follows:

in Block t, Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, and 31 An:Block 5, Lots 1, 3,
5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, ~, 19, 21, 23, 25~, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, 41, 43, 45, and 47 in Block
6, Lots 1, 3, 5, $, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23 and 25, Block 10, all as shown on that certain map
entitled "Section West of Railroad of the Town of Baden", which map was filed in the office of the
County Recorde~ of the County of San Mateo, California, November 36, 1891, in Volume "E" of Maps at
page 62; and
Beginning at a point marking the most southerly corner of Lot 1 in Block 16, as said let
Planning Commission shall submit its final report w~.'~th reference to each of said area~ of land.

Beginning at a point marking the most southerly corner of Lot i in Block lO, as said let
and block are designated on the above entitled map, said point being on the northea'~terly line of
the California State Highway known as E1 Caminto Real;
Running thence from said point of beginning southeasterly along said line of ml Camino Real
l~78.81 feet to the most southerly corner of the property now owned by Joseph Wheeler; thence leaving
said line of E1 Camino Real northeasterly ~long the southeasterly line of said lands of Wheeler 100
feet; thence leaving said last mention~d line northwesterly and parallel vd th the northeasterly line
of E1 Camino Real, and 100 feet at right angles northeasterly therefrom, 470 feet, more or less, to the
most easterly corner of said Lot l; thence southwesterly along the southeasterly line of said Lot l,
100 feet to the point of beginning.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting, held' ou the ll _ day of February, 19~6,
by the following vote:
