HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1096-1946 WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 22nd day of ~,iarch, 1946, hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving -and considering any protests against rezoning the land described in that certain resolution entitled: "A resolution of tho City Council of the City of South San Francisco providing for notice of hearing t~e proposition to rezone certain areas of land in the City of South San Fran- cisco,'' which resolution was -adopted by s~.id City Council on the 18th day of ~,,~areh, t9~o; and WI~REAS tt:e matter of rezoning the land referred to in said resolution has again been considered by the City Planning Commission of said city and said City Planning 'Conmmiss- ion has recormmended that 'the land hereinafter described be reached; and WHEREAS t±~e protests wnmc~ have been made against rezoning said land have been duly considered by said City Council; RESOLVED by the Cit~ Council of the City of South San Francisco that said protests be, and 't~e same hereby are overruled. The land which said City Planning Commission has recommended to be rezoned is siutate in said city and is described as follows: PA~ ~EL A All that certain real property situated in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of 0alifornia, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the northwesterly ]_ine ~of Linden Avenue with the northeasterly line of Hillside ~oulevard, said point be. lng the most ,easterly corner of the lands firstly described in Grant of Right of ~;;ay from °curb San Francisco Land and Improve- ment Company, a corporation to the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, dated February 7, 1924 and recorded December 10, 1924 in Sock 147 of Official Records of San 12ateo County at page ll~; thence North 5~° 16' West, along the northeasterlYoline of Hillside Boulevard, 5~1.~6 feet; thence leaving said northeastorly line North 55 56' $0" East 260.~7 feet to a point; thence South ~2° 16' East $56.~7 feet to a point; thence South 26o ~7' $0" West 162 feet to a point in the northerly line of Linden Avenue; thence West- erly, alonS .the northerly line of Linden Avenue, on the arc of a curve to t±~e left, the center of which bears South 2o 01' 56" "' ~ East Z09.90 feet from last ]point, having a radius of $09.90 feet and a central anzle of 2Z© 45' 41" an arc' distance of 128 52 feet to the point of beginning.
