made, said City Council ascertained the general prevailing rates of per diem wages and
the general prevailing rates for legal holidays and overtime work; m~d

vailing rates was, in part, incorrect, and that the classification in said resolution
is incomplete;

Said City Oouncil hereby amends said resolution ordering the work and hereby
ascertains that the general prevailing rates of per diem wafjes and the general prevailing
for legal holidays and overtime applicable to said work to be done are as follows:

The rate fop any employee not listed in the above schedule shall not be less
than ~1.10 per hour for skilled labor, ~$.95 for intermediate labor and ii.:iJ0 for unskilled
labor.

Overtime work will be time and a half (1~-) the above rates.
Sundays and holidays (except watci~aen) double the above per diem r~:tes.
For the duration of' ti~e wars in which the United States of ~erica is now. cngai'od,
pay~uent for overtime work shall be made in accordance with tl~e executive order of the Presi-
dent of the Unit~d States of ~h~aerica., dated September 10, 194~, if such payment for overtime
work is legally subject to and controlled by said order.

The Superintendent Of streets of the City of South San Francisco is hereby directed
to amend 'the contract between 3uri-Buri Nomes, Inc., dated June 10, 194~, so that said con-.
tract, as amended, will conform with the amond~ment in this resolution as to prew?ilinS rates
of wages, provided that said ~L~.~i-13uri ~.iomcs, Inc. ~.'~ill consent to the muendment hereby auth-
orized.
