HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1123-1946RNSOLUTION N'O. 1123 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY TO TO THE CITY OF SAN FRAN- CISCO. WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco has re- ceived a written petition from Sam Lodato, also known as Salvadore Lodato, and Mary Lodato, his wife, and Joseph S. Lodato, and Barbara E. Lodato, his wife, to annex to said City of South San Francisco the un- inhabited territory hereinafter de- scribed; The territory hereinbefore men- ~loned and re~erred to consists of all that certain real property situated in the County of San Mate., State of California, and particularly de- scribed as follows: Begin at a point which is the most westerly corner of Lot 4 in Block G as said lot and block are designated on that certain map entitled "TRACT NO. 534 MAP NO. I COUN- TRY CLUB PARK SAN MATE. COUNTY, CALIFORNIA" which map was filed for record in the Office of the Recorder of San Mate. County, State of California, May 9, 194I in westerly lines of said Golden Gate Cemetery to the northeasterly line of Juniper. Serra Boulevard as es- tablished by deed to Joint Highway District No. 10 of the State of Cali- fornia, a public corporation, record- ed November 28, 1938 in Liber 810 of Official Records at Page 396; thence northwesterly along said northeasterly line of Juniper. Serra Boulevard 1699.83 feet to the most southerly corner of that certain par- cci of land described in the Deed from California Pacific Title Insur- ance Company, formerly California Pacific Title & Trust Company, a cor- poratlon, to Walter Neugebauer and Ida Neugebauer, his wife, dated De- cember 5, 1945 and recorded Feb- ruary 7, 1946 under File No. 86543F; thence North 58'45' East 903.82 feet and North 31'15' West 357.12 feet along the southeasterly and north- easterly lines of said lands of Neuge- bauer to the most northerly corner thereof; said point being in the Southeasterly boundary line of the lands now or formerly of the Cali- fornia Golf Club of San Francisco; thence North 55'07'30" East along ~aid southeasterly boundary line Book 23 of Maps, Pages 54, 55 and 1016.72 feet; thence leaving said 56 thereof; running thence from 'last mentioned line South 31'15' said point of beginning North 31'15' East 270.10 feet, North 77'52'30" West 60.90 feet and South 58'45' East 180.63 feet, South 85'58' East West 330 feet to the most westerly 182.93 feet, North 31'57' East 192.94 corner of Lot 8 in Block H as said lot feet, North 53'00' East 100.00 feet, and block are shown on the map North 86'20' East 63.00 feet, North above referred to; thence South 31' 59'00' East 220.00 feet and North 15' East 320.81 feet, South 16'02' 75'00' East 150.00 feet to the most of beginning. AND WHEREAS the territory hereinbefore described is in fact un- inhabited territory; and WHEREAS said City Council has found, and does hereby find, that said Sam Lodato, Mary Lodato, Jo- seph S. Lodato and Barbara E. Lo- dat. are the owners of more than one-fourth (~A) of the area of the land hereinbefore described and rep- resent more than one-fourth (%) of the assessed value of said territory, according to the last precedi~ equalized assessment roll of the County' o/San Mate.. Said City Council hereby desig- nates the territory hereinbefore de- scribed as Avalon Park, for the put- poses of identification. RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that Monday, the 5th day of August, 1946, at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chamber of the City Hall in said City of South San Fran- cisco be, and the same hereby are fixed as the time and place when and where any person or persons owning real property within the ter- ritory hereinbefore described, and so proposed to be annexed, and hay- ing any objection to the proposed annexation of such territory may ap- appear before said City Council and show cause why said territory should not be so annexed. The city Clerk of this City shall cause ~ copy of this resolution to be published once a week for two.
