HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1141-1946 RESOLUTION NO. ll41 ACCEPTING DEED FROM CALIFORNIA PACI~'~IC TITLE INSURANCE COM~PANY RESOLVED by the City ~ouncil of the City of South San Francisco that said city hereby accepts that certain deed dated the 3rd day of September, 1948, wherein CALIFORNIA PACIFIC TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY, a California corporation, conveys to said City of South San Francisco an easement for storm sewer five feet (8') wide across Lots ll and 12 of Block 13 and Lot 7 of Olock 14, as those lots and blocks are shown on map entitled: "SECTION WEST OF RAILROAD OF Tt~E T0'~VN OF BADEN", recorded November 30, 1891, in Book E-82 and a copy thereof entered in Book 19 of Maps at page 8, lying 2.5 feet on' each side of the following described centerline: BEGINNING at a point on the northeasterly line of "C" Street, as shown on the aforementioned map, distant thereon 4.0 feet southeasterly from the most westerly corner of said Lot ll of Block 13; thence northeasterly to a point on the southwesterly line of that certain strip of land 65 feet wide, owned by the City and County of San Francisco formerly owned by Market Street hallway Co., which point is 4.0 feet south- easterly from the northwesterly line of Lot 7 of Block 14, measured at right angles thereto. Reserving to the grantor the right to construct over and across said"~asement any building or dwelling house, garage or appurtenance thereto. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this deed, together with a certi- fied copy .of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, California. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced snd adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 5th day of September, 1948, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Geo.
