RESOLUTION PERMITTINC~ CITY AND COUNTY
OF SAN FRANCISCO TO CONSTRUCT A PIPE LINE.
RESOLVED, That the City' and County of San Francisco, a municipal corporatio~
its contractors and agents, hereinafter referred to as the permittee~, is hereby grantE
permission to construct, reconstruct, maintain, operate, repair and/Or remove a water
pipe line (not exceeding 60 inches in-side diameter) in Alta Loma Drive from the north
erly boundary of the Subdivision of Lands of Burl-Burl Homes, Inc., to Del Paso Drive;
thence easterly and southerly along Del Paso Drive and across Arroyo Drive to the
southerly boundary of Said Subdivision; City of South San Francisco, California.
This permit is granted subject to the following conditions:
1. Said pipe line shall be laid below the finished surface of said streets
to a minimum depth of two feet; provided, however, that appurtenances may be construe
flush with the surface of the roadways.
2. During construction of the pipe line, the permittee shall maintain suti-
able bridges over the trench to take care of traffic. The permittee shall hold the
permitter free and harmless from all claims for damages or injury to persons or proper1
resulting from accident due to the construction, reconstruction or repair of said pipe
line along said streets. If any existing sewers, water pipes or other structures of
other parties laid in said streets become injured due to any operations of the permittE
under the terms of this permit, they shall be repaired imediately by the permittee at
its own expense.
3. After completing construction or other work on said pipe line along said
streets, the permittee shall restore the roadways to their previous condition to the
satisfaction of the permitter.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 28rd day of
September, 1946, by the following vote:
