RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said
City Council finds and determines and hereby declares t~hat:
The publfa interest and necessity require the acquisition for the construction
of a storm water and sanitary sewer in the land hereinafter described, and t!mt
public interest and necessity require the acquisition of an e.asement in the land
hereinafter described for the p,mrposes of construction and maintenance of such
storm water and sanitary Sewer.
RESOLV~ ~URTH~ that said Oity of South 5an Francisco acquire an easement
in the real oroperty' hereina~r described by conde~matlon in accordance with the
~rov~.sions o~~ the Code of Civil ~rocedure and the Constitu~on of the ~tate of
Oaliiornia relating to eminent domain, and prepare and prosecute, in the marne of
the People of the State of California, such proceeding or proceedings in the
Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of San ~,'~ateo, as
are necessary for such acquisition; that said Oity make a~.plication to said Superior
Court for an order fixing the amount of such security, in the way of money deposits
as said court may direct, and for an order permitting said City of South San
Francisco to take i~.znediate possession and use of said real property, for the purpose
of constr~.cting and maintaining therein a storm water and sanitary sewer; that said
City deposit such security, out of proper funds under the control of said city, in
such amount, so fixed and determined, an~ in such mariner as said Ouperior Court m~y
direct.
The real property which said City of South San ~ranc?~sco determines to
acquire for said public use is an easement in the land situate in said 8ity of
South San Francisco, County of San ~'~ateo, ~tate of California, and described as
follows:
A strip of land seven (7) feet in width bordering upon and extending
for the full length of the northerly line of lot numbered Twenty .(~0) in block
F' (5), as shoran upon that certain map entitled: "~^~ OF HI~ -5CH00L

County ~ecorder of the County of ~an ~'~ateo, 0al~fornia, ~ay 17, 1917, in Book 10 of

The 0ity Attorney is here0y m~thorize~ and directed to prepare and file
a complaint in eminent domain for the purpose of acquiring said land, an~ to do all
such other things as may be necessary to carry into effect *~he purposes of this
resolution.
