RESOL~D by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said city
accept the offer of J. F. Barrett, H. Hilp and Lawrence Livingston, defendants name5 in t~e
action in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for he County of San ~ateo,
the same being numbered 35947, to pay to said city the sum of ~ive Thousand Dollars (~5000.00)
in full satisfaction of the demand of said city in said action. The city attorney is hereby
directed to dismiss said action with prejudice to the commencement of another action on any
or all the !/rounds stated in plaintiff's first amended complaint.
The mayor and the city clerk are hereby authorized and directed, in behalf of said
city, to execute and deliver to said defendants a release of all demands of said city against
said defendants, as well as the United States ~aritime Commission and. the United States of
.~=merica, upon the pa?ment of said sum of money to said city.
