HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1160-1946120 RESOLUTION #1160 Awarding Contract to~abriel Construction Company for constr~ction of sidewalk on Orange Ave. RESOLVED bY the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said City Council hereby awards to Gabriel Construction Company of 2200 ~OAkda~ Avenue, San Francisco 24, California the c~n~ra~t for the construction of sidewalk on the easterly side of Orange Avenue in s aid city from the end of the existing sidewalk at Lot No. l, Block No. 8, of Mayfair VillaEe No. 1, westerly approximately two hundred ten feet (210') to the end of the existing sidewalk at Lot No. 26, Block 13 of Baden Subdivisiom, for the sum of Seven Hundred Seven Dollars and 24 cents (~07.24). All the work herein provided for shall be done in accordance with the plans and specifi- cations this day.presented to said City C~uncil by the works engineer of said city and at the location shown upon said plans and under the supervision and to the satisfaction of s aid works engineer. O0 8.50 9.20 9.78 Overtime to be time-and-a-half for time over eight (8) hours and on Saturdays and holidays, and double time on Sundays. The following are to 'be considered holidaysz New-~ears's day, Decoration Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Admission Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The Mayor and the City Clerk of said city are hereby directed to executed a contract with said Gabriel Construction Company for the performance of said work. In said ~~ said wage rates shall be set forth. Upon the completion of said work, in accordance with the terms of said contract, seventy-five (75) per cent of said contract price shall become payable. The remainder of said contract price shall be payable upon the expiration of thirty-five (35) days following the date of the completion of said work.
