Accepting Deed from South San Francisco Land and
Improvement Co. for extension of Commercial Ave.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said city hereby
accepts that certain deed dated the 26th day of December, 19~6, wherein South San Francisco Land
and Improvement Company, a corporation, conveys to s aid Eity of South San Francisco an easement for
the construction and maintenance of a public street or highway in and upon all that c~tain real
property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California,
and Aescribed as follows:
All that certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San
Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as follows:~
Beginning at a point which bears N. 74° 27' W. 80 feet from the southwesterly corner of
Lot 20 in Block 79 as said lot and block are designated on that certain map entitled, "SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO SAN ~ATE0 CO. CAL. PLAT NO. l", Which map was filed~f~r record in th~'office~of the
Recorder of San Mateo County, State of California, March l, 1892, in Book 2 of Maps at page 52
thereof; running thence from said point of beginning S.15° 33' E. 60 feet to a point; thence N. 74°
27' W. 252.54 feet to a point; thence North 36° 45' W. 398.84 feet to a point; thence N. 53° 15'
E. 60 feet to a point; thence S. 36° 45' E. 378.36 feet to a point and S.74° 2V' E. 232.06 feeh to
the point of beginning, and said parcel-of land being the extension of Commercial Avenue from Chestnut
Avenue to Oak Avenue.~
The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause said deed and a certified copy~of this resolution
to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County, California~
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted at
a meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, on the 30th day of December,
by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen: G.W.Holston, Chas.K.Elder, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi
Noes, Councilmen: None
