Designating Extension of Commercial Ave. as Commercial Ave.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the ~ity of South San Francisco that the area of land,
which South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company has conveyed to said City as an easement for
the construction and maintenance of a public street or highway thereon, wh~h land is next hereinafter
described, be, and the same hereby is officially designated as Commercial Avenue.
The land hereinbefore referred to is all that certain real property situate in the City
of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as
follows t
Beginning at a point which bears N.74° 27' W. 80 feet from the southwesterly corner of
Lot 20 in Block 79 as said lot and block are designated on that certain map entitled: ~SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO, S~AN MATE0 COD, CAL. PLAT NO. l", which map was filed for r_ecord in the office of the
Recorder of Sen Mateo County. State of California, March l, 1892, in Oook 2 of Maps at page 52
thereof; running thence from said point of beginning S.15 33' E. 60 feet to a point; thence N.
V4° 27' W. 252.54 feet to a point; thence North 36° 45' W. 39~.84 feet $oa point; thence N. 53°
E. 60 feet to a point; thence S. 36° 45' E. 378.38 feet to a point and 2.74o 27' E. 232.06 feet
to the point of beginning, containing 0.87 acres more or less and being Parcel ll, Zone B, said
parcel of land being the extension of Commercial Avenue from Chestnut Avenue to Oak Avenue.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
~ City Council of the City of South Sa~ Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 30th day of
December, 1946, by the following vote:
