ACCEPTING 0FFi~R OF GABRIEL CONS~RUCTION COMPANY TO
CONSTRUCT A SIDEWALK ON THE WAST SIDE OF WEST ORANGE AVE'.
RESOLVED by the ~ity Council of the City of South San Francisco that the offer of
Frank J. Jackson and John A. Ward, doing business as co-partners under the firm name and style
of Gabriel Construction Co., to construct a sidewalk on the portion of the east side of West
Orange Avenue in said city, showh upon the plans this day adopted by said City Council for said
work, for the unit prices hereinafter stated, be, and the same hereby is accepted.
The unit prices hereinbefore mentioned are as follows: Concrete curb and gutter,
$1.25 per lineal foot; concrete sidewalk, $0.50 per square foot; 2½" asphaltic concrete wearing
surface for driveways, $0.12 per square foot; asphaltic concrete walkway, $0.14 per square foot;
rock fill, $1.75 per ton.
All the work of constructing said sidewalk shall be under the supervision and to the
satisfaction of the Works Engineer of said city and strictly in accordance with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted for said work and at the location shown upon said plans.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
'by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting on the 20th day of
January, 194V, by the following vote:
