APPLICATION FOR PLAN PREPARATION REI~URSE~!~ENT AND SUPPORTING DATA
FOR CE~t'TRAL FIRE STATION
1. ~HEREAS, the State of Ualifornia under Chapter 4V, Statutes of 1944, (4th ~xtra
~ession) has ap£~ropriated funds for allotment oy the Directo-~~ o±~ F~nance to provide financial
assis'~ance to Local Agencies defined therein as counties, cities or cities or counties for th~
purpose of defraying not to exceed one-half of the cost of preparing engineering fluid survey,
engineering or architectural designs, and working and detailed drawings and Specifications
(hereinafter called "Plans") required for postwar public works projects described as "specific
projects" in said Act; and
~. ~I~(EAS, the City of South San Francisco, hereinafter designated as "Local Agency"
desired to apply to the Director of Finance and/or the Postwar Public ~orks Review ~oard, '
as the case may be, for an allotment of the State's share of the estimated cost of preparing the
completed plans hereinafter mentioned and there has been prepared and presented to this Legislative
Body for consideration an application for such purpose; and

~H ~'~ ~' Local Agency has provided, or will make available upon approval of the
a£0~rementioned application, sufficient funds to prepare the completed plans herein mentioned; .
4. NOW THEREFORE BE iT RESOLVED, that Local Agency submit the aforesaid applic~ation to
the Director of Finance and/or the ~ostwar ~ublmc ~orks Revxew ooar~, as the case may be,
requesting allotment of Three Thousand Six Hundred Sixty and no/ll Dollars (~j~880.00) being
not more than one-half the cost of preparin, g said completed plans, or for such amount as may
be approved by the Oirector of Finance and/or the Postwar Public '~?~orks neview ~oard, (said
allotment to be used for the purpose of defraying the cost of preparing said completed pl. ans
required) for a specific project to be undertaken by local agency and described as a 8entral
Fire Station.
~. BE IT FUHTH~R RESOLVED, that the estimated cost of preparing such plans is Seven
Thousand Three Hundred Twenty and no/l$0 Dollars (~7~0.00) and that Local Agency has made
provision for paying one-half or more of the cost of preparing such plans;
$. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that for the purposes of this application, Daniel J. Hyland,
City Clerk, Ci.ty~Hall, South San Francisco, be and he hereby is designated as the authorized
agent of Local Agency and is hereby authorized and directed to sign the above mentioned
application on behalf of the Local Agency and submit the same to the Director and/or the Post-
War Public Works Review Board together with a certified statement of the estimated cost of
preparing such plans and such other information as may be required; and said authorized agent
is further authorized and directed as the representative of Local Agency to conduct all
negotiations and conclude all arrangements, including submission to the Director of Finance of
applications for reimbursement, which ~ay be necessary to secure reimbursement for the State's
share of the expenditures made in preparing said completed plans.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco on the 3rd day of February, 194V,
by the following vote:
