APPLICATION FOR PLAN PREPARATION REIMBURSEMENT AND
SUPPORTING DATA - THREE RECREATION BUILDINGS
1. WHEREAS, the State of California under Chapter 47, Statutes of 1944, (4th Extra
Sessions has appropriated funds for allotment by the Director of Finance to provide financi~
assistance to ~ocal Agencies defined therein as counties, cities or cities and counties
for the purpose of defraying not to exceed one-half of the cost of preparing engineering
field surve_vs~ engineering or architectural designs, and working and detailed drawings
and specifi~c~ion~ (hereinafter~called "Plans") required for postwar public works projects
described as "specific projects in said act; .and
9.. ~VHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco heremnafter designated as Local Agency
desires to apply to the ~irector of Finance and/o~' '~ ~ ' ' ~
the ~ostwar ~ublic ~orks Revzew oard~
as the case may be, for an allotment of the State s share of the ~stimated cost of pre-
paring the completed plans hereinafter mentioned and there has been prepared and presented
to this Legislative ~ody for consideration an application for such purpose; and
3. WHEREAS, Local Agency has provided, or will make available upon approval of the
~brementioned application, sufficient funds to prepare the completed plans herein mentionedj
4. N0~,~ TITEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED. that Local Agency submit the aforesaid application
to the Director of Finance and/or the ~ostwar Z~ublic ~orks neview ~oard, as the case may
b~, requesting allotment of One Z~housand ~ight Hundred Twenty one and 9.6/100 Dollars
(~1821.9.6) being not more than one-half the cost of preparing said completed plans, or
for such amotuat as may be approved by the Director of Finance and/or the ~ostwar Public
Works ~eview Board, (said allotment to be used for the purpose Of, defraying the cost of
preparing said completed plans required) for a specific project to be undeDtaken by
local agency and described as Three ~ecreation Buildings.
5. BE IT ~V~RTHER RESOLVED, that the estimated cost of preparin? such plans is
Three Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Eight and 92/100 Dollars (~3868.99.] and that Local
Agency has made provision for paying one-half or more of the cost of preparing such
plans;
6. BE IT FUaTHER RESOLVE~, that for the purposes of this application, ~aniel ~.
Hyland, City Clerk~, City Hall, South San Francisco, be and he hereby designated as the
authorized agent o£ Local agency and is~hereby authorized and directed to sign the above
mentioned application on behalf of the ~ocal ~gency and submit the same to the Direc~or
and/or the Zostwar Public ~orks ~eview Ooard together with a certified statement of the
esti-~ated cost of preparing such plans and such other information as may be required;
and said authorized agent is further authorized and directed as the representative of
Local ~gency to conduct all negotiations and conclude all arrangements, including
submission to the Director of Zznance of applications for reimbursement, which may be
necessary to secure reimbursement for the State-s st~re of the e~xpenditures made in
preparing said completed plans.
~ hereby~ certify that the foregoing resolutiSn was regularly introduced and
adOpted by the City Council of the ~ity of South~ S~n Francisco on the 10th day of
February, 19~7, by~ the following vote:
