(AWARD CO~?~CIAL AVENUE IMPROVEMENT WORK)
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session on the 7th day of April, 1947,
publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing all the improvement work described in resolution o~
intention No. 1189 entitled: "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco Declaring its Intention t¢
Improve Coamercial Avenue Between the Easterly Line of Oak Avenu~ and the Westerly Line of Chestnut Avenue", adopted F§bruar~
lC, 19g7, to which resolution reference is hereby made for a description of said work and the assessment district in s~id
resolution of intention described;
Resolved that said City Council hereby rejects all said proposals or bids except that next hereinafter mentioned,
and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:

at the prices named in his bid, to wit:
Item I. Grading, per cubic yard
Item II. Subgrade preparation, per sq. foot
Item III. Paving, per sq. foot
Item IV. Concrete curb and gutters, per lineal ft.
Item V. Sidewalk, per sq. foot
Item VI. g" V. C. P. Sewer, per lineal foot
Item VII. 6" V. C. P. Sewer, per lineal foot
Item VIII. lC" V. C. P. Sewer, per lineal foot
Item IX. 6" x ~" Y, each

Item XI. ~" 1/8 bends, each ~
Item XII. 4~ Cleanouts, each
Item XIII. 6" Cleanouts, each
Item XIV. Standard brick man hole, each

The 0ity Clerk is hereby directed to post a notice of this award conspicuously for five (5) days on ~he Council
Chamber door of this council, and also to publish said notice by two (2) insertiona in ."The Enterprise", a n~wspaper of gene~
circulation, published and circulated in said City of South San Francisco.
