A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CO%~CIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO REFERRING TO THE PLA~ING COM~ISSION
AREA OF LASD IN SAID CITY FOR THE PURPOSES OF REZONING
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the city planning commission of said
city be, and the same hereby is requi~ed to consider the area oS land hereinafter described, with a view to rezoning
the same, and that said city planning commission recommends that said city council the regulations and restrictions
enforced therein with respect to the purposes for ~ich said area may be used, in the event that said area may be
rezoned.
Said city planning commission is instructed to make a tentative report ~with respect to said area of land
and to hold a public hearing thereon on the 30th day of April, 19&7, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the Council
Ch~er of the City H~ll of said city. ~fter holding such hearing, ssid city plan~Ang coamission shall submit its
final report with respect to said srea of land.
The land hereinbefore referred to consists of ~11 that certain tract or oarcel of land situate in the ~ity
· ~t~.~te of California, and dessribed ss follows:

All thst parcel of land situate in the County of San Mateo, State of California, and bounded by the follow-
ing described line:
Beginning at a point on the northwesterly line of Ldnden Avenue as extended southwesterly from Linden
Avem~e as shown on "Nap of Plat Number 2, Subdivision of Blocks 98, 99, ll9, 122, South San Francisco," filed for
record in Book 3 of Maps at page ~, San Mateo County Records, from '~nich point a concrete monument marking the beginn-
ing of a curve in the northwesterly line of said Linden Avenue bears south 15 degrees 33 minutes west ll7&.O0 feet;
said concrete monument also bears south 15 degrees 33 minutes west, 228,20 feet from the northeasterly corner of
that certain 7.00 acre parcel of land conveyed by South San Francisco Land & Improvement Company to E. I,. DuPont
De Nemours Company by deed recorded August 12, 1935, in Book 667 of Official Records at page 37, San Mateo County
Records.
Running thence north 72 degrees 27 minutes west 523.00 feet; thence south 15 degrees 33 minutes west
1085.01 feet to a point 'which bears north 15 degrees 33 minutes east 88.99 feet and north 72 degrees 27 minutes
west 523.00 feet from the aforesaid concrete monument; thence south 32 degrees O1 minutes 52 seconds west 231.82
feet to a point in the northerly line of that certain parcel of land conveyed by South S~n Francisco Land & Improvem
Company to Herman Poetsch by deed recorded January 12, 1922, in Book 992 of Official Records at page 383, San Mateo
County Eecords; thence along the line of said last mentioned parcel of land north 53 degrees west, 90.A3 feet;
thence south 31 degrees 23 minutes west 151.O0 feet; thence on the arc of a curve to the left tangent to the pre-
ceding course, haviEg a radius of 550.00 feet, a central angle of 22 degrees 22 minutes, an arc distance of 215.O2
feet; thence south 8 degrees 59 minutes west 303.03 feet; thence on the arc of a curve to the left tangent to the
preceding course, having a radius of 62.00 feet, an arc distance of 37.87 feet; thence on the arc of a curve to
the right tangent to the next succeeding course, having a radius of 5819.65 feet, a central angle of O degrees,
18 minutes 32 seconds, an arc distance of 31.23 feet; thence south 2~ degrees 36 minutes 58 seconds east, 208.57
feet to the most southerly corner.of last said parcel of land, said last mentioned point also being on a south-
westerly line of a right of way granted by the South San Francisco Land & Improvement Company to the Southern
Pacific Railroad Company be deed recorded ~uly 18~ 1927, in Book 313 of Official Records at page 51, San Ma. tee
County Records; thenc~ across said right o~ way south 22 degrees 36 minutes 5~ seconds east ~7.097 feet to the
northeasterly line of.said right of way which line is also the line of the most northerly end of that parcel of
land conveyed for a p~.blic highway known a8 "Huntington Avenue East" by deed recorded December 19, 1932, in Book
578 of Official Records at page 232, San k~teo County Records; thence southerly along the easterly line of the
said Southern Pacific. right of way which ~ine is also the westerly end of said "Huntington Avenue East" along
a curve to the left h~ving a radius of 267~68 feet, the chord of said curve bears south i degree A~ minutes 52
seconds east, 129.01 ~eet to a point in th9 northeasterly line of a right of way conveyed by the South San
Francisco Land and Improvement Company to ~acific .Gas & Electric Company by Grant of Right of ?~ay recorded July
31, 1929, in Book 365 of 8fficial Records at page 275; thence along the northeasterly line of the said rd. ght of
way of the Pacific Ga~ & Electric Company,.north 22 degrees 36 minutes 58 seconds west 362.78 fe~t, along a curve
to the left tangent to the preceding course having a radius of 5769.60 feet, a central angle of l0 degrees 21
minutes 12 seconds, a~ arc distance of 102~.57 feet; north 32 degrees 58 minutes l0 seconds west 292.~2 feet,
north 10 degrees OI minute 50 seconds east.22.A3 feet, north 32 degrees 58 minutes l0 seconds west 255.00 feet;
thence leaving said right of way line nortb A1 degrees 22 minutes dO seconds east 350.97 feet; thence north 72
degrees 09 minutes east 335.00 feet; thenc$ south 80 degrees 22 minutes east 320.O0 feet; thence north 76 degrees
25 minutes east 755.00 feet; thence south 7~ degrees 27 minutes east ~20.00 feet to the westerly line of said
Linden Avenue; thence along the westerly line of Linden Avenue south 15 degrees 33 minutes west 60.00 feet to the
point of beginning.
Containing 29.96 acres and being a poStion of the Burl Buri R~ncho.
