RESOLUTION NO. 1208
ACCEPTING DEED FROM SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO LAND & I~ROV~,~INT CO!~iPANY
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said city hereby accepts that
certain deed dated the 16th day of April, 1997, wherein South San F~ancisco Land & Improvement Co~pany, a corpora-
tion, conveys to said City of South.-San Francisco an easeraent for the contruction and maintanance of a public street
or highway over and upon the following lots or parcels of l~nd situate in the City of South San Francisco, County
of San Nateo, State of California, and described as follows:
PARCEL I.
COI~.gENCING at the most westerly corner of that certain 7.8~ acre tract conveyed by the South S~n Francisco
Land and Improvement Company to the City of South San Francisco by d~ed doted February 27, 193A, and recorded May
2, 193~+, at pa$~ A78 in Book 618 of Official .Records, San Mateo County Records; thence from said point of commencement
south 55° 59~ 10" east 297.~8 feet; thence on the arc of s curve to the left of radius 3899.83 feet, said curve being
tangent to said last mentioned course st said last mentioned point, a distance of 550.61 feet to a point in the westerly
boundary of West Orange Avenue; thence along said westerly boundary south 36° 06' 36" west 40.76 feet to the point of
intersection of said boundary with the northeasterly boundary of the Valencia Branch of the Southern~acific Railroad;
thence along said northeasterly boundary on the arc of a curve bo the right of radius 3859.83 feet a distance of 552.15
feet, said curve being tange~nt at last mentioned point to the next mentioned course~ thence north 55° 59' 10" west
283.02 ~eet; thence north 15° 33~ east ~2.17 feetto the point of commencement.
CONTAINING 0.773 of an acre.
PARCEL II.
CO~[F~NCING at a point in the southerly boundary line of the Southern Pacific Railroad B~den Branch which
point bears south 15° 33' west 50.00 feet from the southeasterly corner of Block 2 as delineated on that mpa entitled:
"City Park Addition, So~th S~n Francisco, S~n Mateo County, C~lifornia", recorded July 20, 1938, at page 79 in Volume
21 of Maps, San Mature County Records; thence from said point of comme.n~ement, along the westerly boundary of
Oran6e Avenue, south 36° 06' 36" west ~2.72 feet; thence north 7A° 27' west 1035.A9 feet; thence on the arc of a curve
to the left of radius lO81 feet a distance of 2d2.1d feet, said curve being tangent to said last mentioned course at
said l~st mentioned point; thence north 15° 33' east ~0.84 feet to a po{nt in the above mentioned snutherly boundary of
the Southern Pacific Railroad Baden B~anch right of way; thence along said southerly boundary on the arc of s curve to
the right of radius ll21 feet a distance of 2&1.99 feet, the tangent to said curve ~t the last mentioned point bearing
south 74° 27' east; thence continuing along said southerly boundary south 74° 27' east 1049.5A feet to the point of
commenc ement;
CONTAINING 1.179 acres.
The C~ty clerk is hereby directed to cause said deed and a certified copy of this resolution to be re-
corded in the office of the Co~nty Recorder of San Mateo County, California
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted at a meeting of the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco on the 21st day of April, 19~7, by the following vote:
