~ES0LUTION OF AWARD
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session, on the 16th day
of June, 19&7, publicly open, and e~.am~e and declar® all sealed proposals or ~i~a~ f~r'the construction
of sidewalk on the west side of Orange Avenue between .Railroad(h~venue and the right of way of the San
Francisco Uunicipal Railway, in said City of South San Francisco;
Resolved that sAAd City Council hereby rejects all said proposals or bids, except that next
hereinafter mentioned, and hereby a~ards the contract for doing the work hereinafter designated the
lowest responsible bidder, to wit: L. C. Smith at the prices named in his bid, to wit:

The work, for which the contract is hereby awarded, consists of the following: The construction
of a sidewalk on the west side of Orange Avenue from City Park property to an existing walk at Railroad Av~
and from City Park property to an existing walk at Baden Avenue, and on the east side of West Orange Ave.
across North and South Canal Streets, the canal right of way, and the north end across Southern Pacific
right of way to Railroad Avenue.
All said work shall be done at the locations shown upon the plans referred to in resolution No.
1215, entitled "Resolution ordering construction of a Sidewalk on the west side of Orange Avenue between
Railroad Avenue and the right of way of the San Francisco Municipal Railways" adopted on the 28th day
of Uay, 19A7, and strictly in accordance with the plans and Specification men%ioned said resolution. All
said work end the materials used in connection therewith sb~ll be furnished under the supervision and to
the satiWfaction of the works engineer of said city.
The mayor of said city and the city clerk are hereby authorimed and directed, in the name of
said city and under its seal, to execute the contract hereby awarded.
I~ hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 16th day of June, 19A7, by the following vote~
