~HEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session, on the 7th day
ef July, 19&7, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for the construction of an
eight (8) inch sanitary sewer from a manhole in the intereection of Grand Avenue and Mission Read north-.
westerly Along said MiiAt~Read for a distance of five hundred and twenty-eight (528) feet.
RESOLVED that said City Council hereby rejects all said proposals or bids, except that next here-
inafter mentioned, Lad hereby awards the contract for doing the work hereinafter designated to the lowest res-
pensible bidder, to wit: L. C. Smith at the prices named in his bid, to wit: Eight (8) inch sewer, $1.80 per
lineal foot; manholes, $16~.00 each. ~
Ail said work shall be done at the location shown upon the plans and specifications for said work,
adopted by the said City Council on the 16th day of June,. 19~7, .and under the direction and to the satisfaction
of the works engineer of said city.
The Mayor and said City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed,, in the name of said city and under
its seal, to execute the contract hereby aware~d.
I hereby certify thattthe foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council
ef the City of South San Francisco, this 7th day of July 19~7, by the following vote:
Ayes, Ccuncilmaa G. W. Holston, Chas. K. Elder, Adolph Bani, Emilio Cortesi.
Absent, Councilmen Mayer Leo Ferko
Nees, Councilmen None
