RAILROAD AVENUE SEWER
RESOLVED that, whereas the CitY Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 2nd day of June,
1927, pass its resolution of intentionNo. 1220 to order the improvement work described in said resolution to be
done in said city, which resolution of intention was duly and regularly published, as required by law; and
WHE~ no protest er objection against said work has been received by'said city clerk or by said.City
Council at any time;
NOW, THE.~ORE, RESOLVED that public interest and convenience require the improvment work described
in said resolution of intention to be done and said city council of the Cit~ of South San Francisco hereby
orders said work to be done, to wit:
The. construction of a sewer between South~agnolia Avenue and South Spruce Avenue, three hundred
twent[-five (325) feet south of the southerly boundary line of the Baden Branch of the Southern Pacific Rail-
road ~ompany and North Canal Street.
Said City Council hereby ascertains that the general prevailing rates of per diem wages and the
general prevailing rates for legal holiday and overtime work applicable to said work to be done are as follows:

ironers and rakers.
Concrete pan work, magesite and mastic workers, wet
or dry, sloper mucker underground, pavement break-
ers, Jackhammer, vibrators and all air gas and
electric t~ola, loading and unloading, carrying
and handl~gall rods and materials for use in re-
inforcing co$crete construction.

Monthly rates are to be equal to the above, based on 176-hour working month.
The following are to be considered holidays: New Year's Day, Decoration Day, Independence Day, Labor
Day, Admission Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and Sundays.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to post notice of said work, together with the plans and specifica-
tions, on or near the Council Chamber door, inviting sealed proposals for doing the work ordered. He is also
directed to publishers notice invit[eg sealed proposals and referring to the specifications posted or on file,
by two (2) insertions in "The South San Francisco Journal", a weekly newspaper published and circulated in said
City of South San Francisce and hereby designated for that purpose.
I hereby certify that the feregoing resolutionWae regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Seut~ San Francisco, this 9th day of July, 1927, by the following vote:
