HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1247-1947188 RESOLUTION # 1247 RESOLUTION A (CENTRAL POLICE STATION BOND ISSUE) WHEREAS the central police 'station, how housed in the City Hall building of the City of South San Francisco is, by reason bf the increase of population of said city and the conse~emt need for police service, inadequate to meet the requirements of said city at the present time$ RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that siad City Council does hereby determine that public interest and necessity demand the acquisition, construction and completion by said City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, of a central police station and the acquisition of the necessary furDiture and equipment for the same; that said improvement is convenient and necessary to carry out the objects purposes and powers of ~aid city; that the estimated cost of said improvement, together with the necessarylequipment together with the neceas~ry equipment for said central police station, is ON~ HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($150,OO0.0~), and that the cost of said improvement and said equipment is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary snnual income and revenu~ of said City of South San Francisco, and will, in addition to the other ex- penditures o~ said City of South San Francisco, exceed the income and revenue for any one year. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of So~th San Francisco, this 7th day of August, 19~7, by the followin~ vote: Ayes, Councilmen G.
