HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1257-1947RESOLUTION NO. 1257 RESOLUTION FIXING TAX RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 19&7-19AS RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the number of cents to be pat to said City of South S&~ Francisco upon each One Hundred Dolla~ ($100.00) of the property taxable by said municipality within said City of South San FranciscO, and hereby levied upon for the purposes of the several fu~ hereinafter named, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 19&7, and ending June 30, 19&8, be, and the same hereby are designated as follows: ON ALL PROPERTY CONTAINED WITHIN THE ORIGINAL CORPORATE BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND ON ALL PROPERTY CONTAINED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF ALL THE LAND ANNEXED TO SAID CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO BY A SPECIAL ELECTION HELD ON MA~H 13, 1916, General Fund $1.OO Fund for the Payment of the Municipal Improvement bonds, series 1919 IOB Library Fund .10 '~ Park Fund .35 Fund for employees' retirement system .13 Fund for payment of municipal improve- ment bonds, series 19&5 .10 ~ Fund for purposes of City Planning Comm. .02 $1.73 Total Said City Council hereby fixes the rate of taxes of said City at the sum of One and 73/100 Dollars ~$1.73) upon each One Huhdred Dollars ($100) of the property taxable by said municipality and contained within the original corporate b~undaries of said City of South San Francisco and on all property contained within the boundaries of all th~ land unexed to said city by a special election held March 13, 1916, the same being th~ aggregate of the amounts opposite the foregoing funds, and hereby levies the sum of One and 73/100 Dollars ~$1.73) Upon each One Hu~dred Dollars ($100.00) of the property mentioned in this paragraph and taxable by said'municipality.. Dollars ($1.60) upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100) of all property taxable by said municipality within~the boundaries of land so annexed to said city as aforesaid. Said City Council hereby orders the sums of money, levied as aforesaid, to be collected. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 2nd day of September, 19&7, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen.
