RESOLUTION OF AWARD
'~HEREAS the City Qouncil of the City of South San FrancisCo did, in open session on the 22nd day
of September, 19&7, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or Bids for doing all the improvement
work described in the resolution of intention N~. 12A6, which resolution of intention was adopted by said City
Council onthe 7th day of Apgust, 19A7, to which resolution of intention reference is hereby made for a descriptio~
of said work and the sssesament district in said resolution of intention described;
RESOLVED that sai~ City Council hereby rejects all said proposals or bids, except that next herein-
after mentioned, and h~reby awards the contract for doing said work and.improvement to the lowest responsible
bidder to wit: L. C. Smit~ at the prices named in his bid, to wit:
Item 1. Pavement excavation and ~isposal, per cubic yard,
Item 2. Combined P. C. C. curb and gutter, per lineal foot,
Item 3. Brick catchbasin, each
Item A. 6-inch crusher run. base pavement with 2~-inch asphaltic
concrete wearing surface, including finish grading and
sealcoabing surface, per sq. foot,
Item 5. A-inch crusher run base pavemen~ with 2½-inch asphaltic
concrete wearing surface, including finish grading and
sealcoating surface, per sq. foot

The City Clerk is. hereby directed to post 8 notice of this award conspicuously for five (5)' days
on the Council Chamber door of this city council, and also to publish said notice by two (2) insertions in the
"South San Francisco J.ournal", a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in said City of South
San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution wes regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Sou~h San Francisco, this 22nd day of September 19AT.by the following vote:
