IN THE MATTER OF THE VACATION OF PORTIONS OF THE STREETS
SHO'~N UPON THAT CERTAIN MAP ENTITLED: "SOUTP~NOOD COMU~R-
CIAL TRACT, SOb"tH SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA".
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation in the
County of San Marco, State of California, that public interest and vonvenience require and that it is the intent~
of said City Council to order the following work to be done in said city, to wit:
That the portions of the public streets and highways delineated upon that certain map entitled:
"Southwood Commercial Tract, South San Francisco, California", which map was recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of San Mateo, California, in Book 25 of Maps at page &O, which portions are hereinafter
described, be closed up in whole.
The portions of said public streets hereinbefore referred to are situate in the C~ty of South San
Francisco, County of San ~ateo, State of California, and are described as follows:
COM~ENCING at the most northeasterly corner of Lot 9, as said lot is delineated on that certain ma
entitled "Southwood Commercial Tract, Sou~h San F~ancisco, California", recorded at age AO in book 25 of maps,
San Marco County Records; thence south 55 A2' 10 west 155.2A foot; thence north 28~ ~2' west 83.15 feet; thence
south 76° 09' 55" west 17.OO feet; thence north 55° 42' 10" east 1&3.20 feet; thence south 28° 02' west 70.42 fee'
to the point of co~mnencement;
CO~[ENCING at the most southeasterly corner of Lot 17, as said lot is delineated on that eertain
map entitled: "Southwood Commercial Tract, South San Francisco, California", recorded at page ~O in b~ok 25 of
Maps, San Mateo County Records; thence north 3~° 17' 50" west 52.~2 feet; thence north lO° A2' lO" east 25.00
feet; thence north 55° ~2' 10" east ~5.93 feet; thence north 13° 50' 05" east 22.00 feet; thence south 280 02'
68.7~ feet; thence south 55° ~2' lO" west 53.36 feet to the point of commencement.

San ~ateo County Records; thence north 28° 02' west 259.5~ feet; thence north 26° 32' west 15~.69 feet; thence
north 23° 2~' east 26.11 feet; thence south 26° 32' east 171.21 feet; thence south 28° 02' east 257.O9 feet; them
south 55° A2' 10" west 20.12 feet to the point of commencement.

All the land delineated upon that certain map entitled: "Southw~od'~Commercial Tract, South San Fran-
Cisco, California".
.All of the herein propqsed work shall be done ~n pursuance of an act of the Legislature of the State
of California known as the "Street Opening Act of 1389", the same being Division 5, Part I of the Streets and High-
ways Code o§ the State of Cs%ifomia.
i~he superintendent of streets is hereby directed to cause to be conspiduously posted along the line
of said contemD~ated work, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and not less than three (3)
in all, noticeq.of the passage of th~s resolution of intention. Said superintendenh of streets .is likewise directed
to cause a notice, similar in substance, to be published by four (d) insertions in "The Enterprise", a weekly .
newspaper prin%ed and circulated in said City of South San Francisco, which newspaper is hereby designated ~y said
City Council a~ the newspaper in which said superintendent of.streets' notice of the passag~ of this resolution shall
be published.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly ~troduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting, this 25th day of September, 19k7, by the following
vote:
Ayes, Councilman G. W. Holston, Chas. K. Elder, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi.
Noes, CounCilman None
Absent, Councilmen Leo Ferko
