RESOLUTION NO. 1271
~TEREAS, a master plan for zoning the City of South San Francisco has been prepared by Hahn &
Campbell and Associates and presented to the planning commission of the City of South San Francisco, together
with the form or ordinance containing regulations to be established in said City of South San Francisco for the
purpose of putt,~n~ sadd master plan into effect; and
WHEREAS, after notice given as provided by law, hearings were held upon said master p~n and said
form or ordinance and, at no time, has any proteet been made against or objection been made to said master plan
and said.form or ordinance, or either one thereof; and
~tEREAS said planning commission of the City of South San Francisco has recommended the adoption
of said master plan and said form of ordinance by the C~ty Council of said City of South San Francisco;
RESOLVED by the City Council of said City of South San Francisco that said City Council hereby
fixes the 17th day of November, 1947, at the hour of 8 orclock p.m., and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of
said City of South Sam Francisco as the time and p~ace when and where any and all interested persons may appear
before said City Council and protest against said master plan and said form of ordinance.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish..~by one (1) insertion in "The Enterprise'!, a n~wspaper
of general circulation, printed and p~blished in the City of South San Francisco, a notice in substantially the
following form:
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON PROPOSED MASTER
PLAN FOR ZONING THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND ON
ORDINANCE ADOPTING REGULATIONS TO BE ESTABLISHED TO PUT
SAID MASTER PLAN INTO EFFECT.
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of theCity of South San Francisco will hold a public
hearing on this 17th day of November, 19&7, at the hour of 8 O'Clock p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall.
of said City of South San Mrancisco for the purpose of considering the findings and recommendations o£ the Planning
commission of the City of South San Francisco with reference to said master plan and the proposed form of ordinance
and for the purpose of hearing any and all protests ~mhich may be made against said master plan and said proposed
Ordinance.
Said master plan and ordinance include proposed regulations limiting the uses of buildings, the height
of buildings, the open spaces about b~ildings, the location of buildings and other improvements with respect to
existing and planned rights of way and other matters relative to the zoning of said city, including procedure for the
administration of such regulations.
Notice is also hereby given that said proposed ordinance and master plan will, if finally adopted by
said City Council of the City of South San Francisco, repeal Ordinance No. 137 of the City of South San Francisco
entitled: "An ordinance establishidg industr~a~ business and residential districts in the City of South San
Francisco, ~m~e~pecially repealing Ordinance No. 117 of the City of South San Francisco, passed May ~, 1925", and
all amendments to said Ordinance No. 137.
Notice is further hereby given that any and sll interested persons':having any. objections to, said master
plan and to said proposed ordinance may appear before said City Council at said public hearing and present such
objections to said City Council.

San Francisco Journal", a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of South San Francisco.
