RESOLVED by the. City Council of the City.of South San Francisco that said city enterinto a lease
with the Golden State Theatre and Realty CorOnation for the Use of the land hereinafter described for the purpo~
of a public automobile parking lot. Said lease shall be dated November 7, 19~7, and continue for the term of si:
(6) months thereafter and shall provide for the payment of the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) each month, on the
6th~ day of each month of said term, as rent for the uss of said land for said pmrposes. The lease shall also
provide that said land shall not be used for said p~poses between , the hour of 6 o'clock p.m., and the hour of
7 o' clock a.m. of the following day, and shall also provide that either party to said lease may, upon giving the
other party thirty (30) days' notice, terminate said lease at the eXpiration of such period of thirty (30) days.
The land hereinbefore referred to consists of all that certain land situate in the City of South
San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and described as follows:
ALI those certain lots or parcels of land situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of
.San Mateo, State of California, and described as follows: Lots Fourteen (iL) to Twenty-Three (23), inclusive,

Co. Cal., Plat No. 1", which map was filed in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo,
California, March 1, 1892, and recorded in Map Book No. 2 at page 52, but excepting from said lots or parcels of
land the portion of said Block numbered One Hundred Forty-One (1~1) described as follow~:
C~encing at the northwest corner of said Block numbered One HundredForty-One (141); thence
southerly along the easterly boundary line of Linden Avemme ninety (90) feet; thence at right angles easterly
and parallel to the easterly line of Linden Avenue ninety (90) feet to the southerly line of Baden Avenue; thenc
along the southerly line of Baden Avenue seventy-five (75) feet to the point of beginning.
The Mayor of said city and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a lease
in conformity with this resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 5th day of November 19~7, by the following
vote:
