HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1282-1947216 RESOLUTION NO. 1282 Rk~.ATING TO PROCF.~OINGS UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1255' RESOLVED, by th~ City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that 1. The words "cement concrete curbs, gutters and sidewalks'' as used in the Resolution of Inten- tion No. 1255 adopted by this Council on August 25, 19&7 is intended to mean and include as an ~tegral part of said sidewalk, the cement concrete monuments and frames and covers shown and described in the plans approved and referred to in said Resolution of Intention. 2. Concrete drainage inlet structures, outle~ boxes, catch basins, head walls, ditch lining, and fire alarm box pedestal bases, shall be of Class B concrete. 3. Concrete curbs, gutters and sidewalks shall be of Class F Concrete.' ~. Concrete monuments shall be of Class H concrete. 5. Precast concrete manhole pipe sections shall meet A. S. T. M. Specifications C 76-A1. 6. Precast concrete manhole taper sections, cap rings and adjustment rings shall be 5000 lb per square inch factory cured concrete as manufactured by California Concrete Products Co., or equal. 7. The words "the installation of fire alarm boxes" as used in said Resolution of Intention is intended to mean and include the fire alarm system more particularly described in the specifications approved and referred to in said Resolution of Intention. 8. That said fire alarm system shall consist of No. 10, triple braid, weather proof, medium hazd drawn, copper overhead wire, extending from the existing fire alarm system in Brentwood Subdivision No. 2, south- westerly along the rear lot lines of Blocks 32, 33 and 3A to the d~.viding line between Lots 23 and 23,, Block 3~, and thence along said~dividing lines to Northwood Drive; also extending northwesterly along the westerly line of Lot ll, Block 32, to Northwood Drive; also extending southeasterly along the dividing line between Lots 7 and 8, Block 32, and Lots ll and 12, Block 29, and thence southwesterly along the rear lot lines of Blocks 29, 30 and 31, to the dividing line between Eots 15 and 17 of Block 31,' thence southeasterly along the westerly line of said Lot 15 to Wildwood Drive; also extending southeasterly from the northeasterly line of Lot 5, Block 29, a- long the easterly line of Lot 5, Block 29, to and along the reaz line of the lots in Block 25, to Rockwood Drive; also extending easterly from said line along the dividing line of Lots 15 and 16, Block 25, to Ravenwood Way; also extending from the rear lot lines of said Lot 25 southerly to and along the dividing line between Lots A3 and43+, Block 23, to the rear of the lots in said block, and thence southwesterly along the rear lot lines of said block, and thence southwesterly along the rear lot lines of said block to the dividing line between Lots 25 and 26 of said block; also extending northwesterly from said line along the dividing 'line between said Lots 25 and 26 to Rockwood Drive; and also extending southeasterly along the dividing line between Lots ll and 12 Block 23, to Greenwood Drive; said lots and block being shown on the Map of Brentwood S~division No. 3; together with cross-arms, clevices~ insulators, hardwood and appurtences, to be affixed to p~ver poles, said power poles to be installed in said streets by the Pacific Gas & Electric Company, Said overhead wire shall be extended at street outlets do~n said power poles to the ground where they shall be connected to the fire alarm box poles by underground 3/A"inch conduit and underground No. l0 cable, the minimum depth of said conduit to be 18 inches. Said conduit and cable shall be extended in Wildwood Avenue from Lot 15, Block 31, to the center of the sidewalk curve at the intersection of Briarwood Drive' and in Rose- wood Avenue in Lot 3A, Block 31 to the center of ~idewalk curve at the intersection of Wildwood Drive, and in Ravenwood Way from Lot 16, Blo~k25, to the center of the sidewalk curve at the intersection of Rockwood DriVe, and in Wildwood Drive from Lot 28, Block 25, to thg center of the sidewalk curve at the intersection of Green- wood Drive. Gamewell No. P. C. 1 fire alarm pedestals shall be set on reinforced concrete blocks set flush with the top of the sidewalk, 12 inches square at the top, 18. inches square at the bottom, and 18 inches high, at the northwesterly corner of Lot 2~, Block ~, Lot 15, Block 25, and Lot 26, Block 23, at the southeasterly corner of Lot 16, Block 31 and Lot 12, Block 23 and Lot 15, Blo~ 25, at the southeasterly corner of Lot l, Block 31 and at the northeasterly corner of Lot l, Block 25. Said fire ~larm~o~es shall be Gamewell three- fold type, fully equipped. Eight transmitter wheels shall also be furnished, bearing wheel numbers to correspond to the box numbers for use at the fire station headquarters.in the operation of said system, but not to be installed under this contract. Ail overhead wiring shall be done under General Order Number 95 of the California Railroad Commission. Ail of said work excepting the extension into and connection with Brentwood Subdivision No. 2 shall be done within Brentwood Subdivision No. 3. 9. On Sheet 2 of the Plans and Profiles for Wildwood Drive-Storm Drain Aligment and Grades, chan~ the Plan to show that the alignment of storm drain line No. i is parallel to the northwest line of Wildwood Brive from the existing storm drain inlet, adjacent to the San Francisco Water Department pipe line easement, to man- hole Nol 18 in the intersection of Wiidwood Drive and Rosewood Way. Chamge the invert elevation of manhole A from 61.50 feet to 57.10 feet. Change the invert elevation of manhole B from 76.80 feet to 72.60 feet. 8. That said fire alarm system shall consist of No. 10, triple braid, weather proof, medium hard drawn, copper overhead wire, extending from the existing fire alarm system in Brentwood Subdivision No. 2, south- westerly along the rear lot lines of Blocks 32, 33 and 3~ to the dividing line between Lots 23 and 2~, Block 3~, and thence along said ~dividing lines to Northwood Drive; also extending northwesterly along the westerly line of Lot 11, Block 32, to Northwood Drive; also extending southeasterly along the dividing line between Lots 7 and 8, Block 32, and Lots 11 and 12, Block 29, and thence southwesterly along the rear lot lines of Blocks 29, 30 and 31, to the dividing line between 1.ots 15 and 17 of Block 31,~ thence southeasterly along the westerly line of said Lot 15 to Wildwood Drive; also extending southeasterly from the northeasterly line of Lot 5, Block 29, a- long the easterly line of Lot 5, Block 29, to and along the rea~ line of the lots in Block 25, to Rockwood Drive; also extending easterly from said line along the dividing line of Lots 15 and 16, Block 25, to Ravenwood Way; also extending from the rear lot lines of said Lot 25 southerly to and along the dividing line between Lots ~3 and 4~, Block 23, to the rear of the lots in said block, and thence southwesterly along the rear lot lines of said block, and thence southwesterly along the rear lot lines of said bl6ck to the dividing line between Lots 25 and 26 of said block; also extending northwesterly from said line along the dividing line between said Lots 25 and 26 to Rockwood Drive; and also extending southeasterly along the dividing line between Lots 11 and 12 Block 23, to Greenwood Drive; said lots and block being shown on the Nap of Brentwood Subdivision No. 3; together with cross-arms, clevices~ insulators, hardwood and appurtences, to be affixed to p~ver poles, said power poles to be installed in said streets by the Pacific Gas & Electric Company, Said overhead wire shall be extended at street outlets down said power poles to the ground where they shall be connected to the fire alarm box poles by underground 3/d"inch conduit and underground No. 10 cable, the minim,~n depth of said conduit to be 18 inches. Said changes shall be made on the face of the Plans and Profiles. 10. On Sheet 1 of the Plans and Profiles for Wildwood Drive-Sanitary Sewer Grades, strike out the wor~ "drop" on manhole 18. On Sheet l0 of the Plans and Profiles, strike out the word "drop" on manhole 18. Change the flow line elevation of manhole 16 from 58.80 feet to 62.0 feet. Change the flow line elevation of manhole 17 from 65.30 feet to 67.80 feet. Change the flow line elevation on manhole 18 from 7d.60 feet to 79.0 feet. Redraw the profile and restate its grade to correspond. On Sheet 13 of the Plans and Profiles, change manhole 11 to manhole 17. Change its flow line elevation from 65.30 to 67.80 'feet. R§dPaw the Profile and restate its grade to corresoond. On Sheet l& of the Pla~ and profiles, change the flow line elevation of manhole 16 from 58.80 feet to 62.0 feet. Redraw the profile and restate its grade to correspond. Change the grades and elevations of connecting lines to correspond to the changes herein made. That said changes shall be made upon the face of the Plans and Profiles. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly ~ntroduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco~this 25th day of November, 19&7, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen G. ~, Holston, Chas.
