TRACT.
~HEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did heretofore determine by its
Resolution of Intention No. 1262 that the public interest and convenience required the closinE up and abando
merit of certain portions of public streets and highways in the Southwood Commercial Tract in the City of Sou
San Francisco, and
I~EREAS i~ appears that on .the 3rd day of November, 1927, the Street Superintendent of the Ci
of South San Francisco did cause to be conspicuously posted alongthe lineof said contemplated work or impr
ment certain notices of public work in the time, form and manner required by law and did cause a similar not
to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the time, form and manner required by law, said not
stating the facts of the passage of said resolution, its date and the work or improvement proposed and a ref
once to said resolution of intention for further particulars, and
WHEREAS it, appears that although more than ten days have elapsed since the completion of,said
posting and publication and ~ince the expiration of the time thereof and that no objection has been made in
any form whatever by any person whatsoever to said contemplated work or improvement,
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
Section 1. The following described portions of public streets and highways in the Southwood
Commercial Tract in the City of South San Francisco, are hereby closed up and abandoned, vim:
COMmeNCING at the most northeasterly corner of Lot 4, as said lot is delineated on that certal
map entitled: "Southwood Commercial Tract, South San Francisco, California," recorded at page ~0 in Book 25
of Maps, San Mateo Councty Records; thence south 55 degrees ~2 minutes 10 sec$~ds west 155.2~ feet; thence
north 28 degrees 02minutes west 83.15 feet; thence south 76 degrees 09 minutes 55 seconds west 17.00 feet;
morth 55 degrees ~2minutes 10 seconds east 1~3.20 feet; thence south 28 degrees 02 minutes west 70.~2 feet
the point of commencement;
COMMENCING at the most southeasterly corner of Lot 17, as said lot is delineated on that cert~
map entitled: "Southwood Commercial Tract, South San Francisco, Califernia," recorded at page AO in Book 25 ~
Maps, San Mateo County. Records; thence north 3A degrees 17 minutes 50 seconds west 52.32 feet; thence north ]
degrees ~2 minutes l0 seconds east25.00 feet; thence north 55 degrees A2 minutes lO seconds east A5.93 feet.
thence south 28 degrees 02minutes east 68.7~ feet; thence south 13 degrees 50 minutes 05 seconds west 25.00
feet; thence south 55 degrees ~2 minutes l0 seconds west 53.36 feet to the point of commencement.
CO~CING at the most southeasterly corner of Lot 9, as said lot is delineated on that certaJ
map entitled: "Southwood Commercial Tract, South San Francisco, California," recorded at page AO in Book 25
Maps, San Mateo Count~ Records; thence north 28 degrees 02 minutes west 259.5A feet; thence north 26 degrees
32 minutes west 15A.69 feet; thence north 23 degrees 28 minutes east 26.11 feet; thence south 26 degrees 32
minutes east 171.21 feet; thence south 28 degrees 02minutes east 257.09 feet; thence south 55 degrees ~2
minutes lO seconds wes~ 20.12 feet to the point of commencement.
Section 2. The Counb~,Recorder of the County of San Mateo is hereby authorized to record a
certified copy of the within resolution.
I here~y certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco held on the 25th day of November
19~7, by the following vote, to-wit:
Ayes, Councilman G. W. Holston, Chas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi.
