HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1303-1948242 RESOLUTION NO. I303 OFFICER WHIPPLE CONDOLENCE WHEREAS it has pleased Almighty ~od'tn His infinite wisdom to remove from our midst WiLliam C. Whipple, w~.o was for nineteen years a good citizen ~and a police officer of South San Francisco; and WHEREAS, as a police officer he was always dependable and conscientious and faithfully and efficiently discharged his duties as such; and WHEREAS Mr. ~ntpple exerciaed beneficial influence in this community and .was well respected at all times; [RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that this .City Council laments the passing of Mr. Whipple and extends its sympathy to the members of his family in their hour of sorrow; .RESOLVED FURTHER that this resolution be spread upon the records of this city and that a copy be sent to his surviving wife. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regdarly introduced and adopted at a regelar meeting of the .City Council of the City of South San Francisco, held on the 2nd day of February, 19A8, by the follow- ing vote: Ayes, Councilmen G.
