AGREEMENT '~ETH HEALY TIBBIT~S - BOAT PIER
WHEREAS the City of South San Francisco has heretofore entered into an agreement with Healy
Tibbitts ~onstruction Co., a.Corporation, bearing date the first day of December, ~9d7, for the construction of
a small boat pier on the land described in said agreement, in accordance with the plans and specifications
mentioned and referred to in said agreement, which plans and specifications are now on file in the office of the
City Clerk of said city;.and
~FHEREAS said city desires to change the location of such small boat pier and is willing to permit
a change in the specifications with respect to the deck structure of such small boat pier, and said Healy Tibbit!
Construction Co..is willing that said agreement be Changedin the manner hereinafter provided;
THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said agreement be
modified~so that the said small boat pier may be constructed slonK the center line of the land hereinafter
described in such manner that one-half of the width of such small boat pier, lengthwise, shall be on one side of
said center line and the other one-half of said small boat pier, lengthwise, shall be on the other half of said
center line.
The land hereinbefore-referred to consists of all that certain tract or parcel of land situate in
the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and described as follows:
A parcel of land 100 .feet in width and AO0 feet long located 50 feet on either side of-a center
line extending south ~5 degrees east from a point located on the extreme easterly tip of ~ rocky promontory about
230 feet southerly from the northerly boundary of the Beach Property belongin~ to the City of South San Francisc,
California. ~
Said point of beginning bears north 55 degrees 58 minutes 26-seconds e~st 197.35 feet; thence nort
gO degrees 5~ minutes ~0 ~seconda east 16~65 feet; thence north 3~ degrees 50minutes east 93.02 feet; thenoe no~
3~ degrees 1 minute 19 seconds east 119.77 feet; thence north 78 degrees ~3 minutes 19 seconds east 293.~0 feet
more or less from the southeasterly corner ~f that certain parcel of land acquired by Wildberg Brothers, s des-
criptio~ of which was recorded March 9th 1923 in Volume 66 of Official Records at Page 381, San Mateo County Rec,
State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that addendum No. 1, dated February 15, 19~8, to the specifications for th.
construction of small boat pier, South San Francisco, California, ~ubmitted by the Works Engineer of said city, 1
and the same hersby is adopted, and that the specifications adopted ~or the construction of said small boat pier
on the 3rd day of November, 19~7, become and here~~ are modified accordingly, and that such small boat pier be
constructed in accordance with said specifications as modified. ·
The ~ayor of said city and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute an egreem.
with said Healy Tibbitts Construction Co. in accordance with the provisions of this resolution.
I. hereby certi·fy that the foregoing resolutdon was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the ~ity of South San Francisco this 16th day of February, 19~8 by the following vote:
