HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1334-1948RESOLUTION NO. 133~ RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK RESOLVED THAT, ~11ER~AS the City Council of the City of South San Prancisco on the 15th day of March, 1948, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 1325 to order the improvement work described in said resolution to be done in said City, which resolution of intention was duly and regularly published, as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of Myra R. Spangler, now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said city; and WHEREA~ notices of the ~ ssage of said resolution of intention No. 1325 were duly and regularly posted along the lin~ of said contemplated work and improvement ~nd in front of all the property liable to be assessed therefor, and along all the open streets within the district in said resolution of intention described, in the manner and form required by law, as appears from the a~fidavit of Henry L. Schwein~ng, Superintendent of Streets of saidCity, now on file in the office of said City Clerk of said city; and WHER~ no protest or objection against said work has been received by said City Clerk or by said City Council at any time; NOW THEREFORE, RESOLVED that public interest and convenience require the improvement work described in said resolution of intention to be done, said City Council of the City of South San Francisco hereby orders said work to be d~ne, to-wit: the construction of a sanit~ary sewer in South Maple Avenue and in a right of way connected to said South Maple Avenue in said City, at the location shown upon the plans heretofore adopted for said work. Said City Council hereby ascertains that the general prevailing rates of per diem wages and the general prevailing rates for legal holidays and overtime work applicable to said work to be done as follows: CLASSIFICATION HOUReY WAGE RATE Bricklayer ( 6 hour day) Carpenter Cement Finisher Concrete Mixer Operator (Under I yd.)
