RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARING RESULTS OF
GENERAL. MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO ON APRIL 13th, 19&8.
WHEREAS a general municip~l election was held in and through the City of South San Francisco on the
13th day o~ April, 19~8, for the election of three (3) members of the City Council of said City of South San Francisco,
the City Treasurer and the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS the CitY Clerk of said City has duly presented to the City. Council of the City of South San
Francisco ell the returns of the vo%es cast at said election;~a~d
WHEREAS said City Council has ~nspected and examined all said returns;
NOW, THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said City Council
finds as follows:

Section 2. Said bonds shall be issued in annual series and the unpaid assessments, as
determined by said City Council, together, with~he interest thereon, shall remain and constitute a trust fund
for the redemption and payment of said bonds and for the interest which may be due thereon, which unpaid
assessments shall be payable in annual series corresponding in number ~ the number of series of the bonds
issued. An even annual proportion of each assessment shall be payable in each year preceding the date of
maturity of each of the several series of bonds, and such proportion of each assessment coming due in any year
together with the annual interest thereon shall in turn be payable in installments the same as the general
municipal taxes of the said City of South San Francisco

Section 2. Said bonds shall be issued in annual series and the unpaid assessments, as
determined by said City Council, together withthe interest thereon, shall' remain and constitute a trust fund
for the redemption and payment of said bonds and for the interest which may be due thereon, which unpaid
assessments shall be payable in annual series corresponding in number ~ the number of series of the bonds
issued. An even annual proportion of each assessment shall be payable in each year preceding the date of
maturity of each of the several series of bonds, and such proportion of each assessment coming due in any year
together with the annual interest thereon shall in turn be payable in installments the same as the general
municipal taxes of the said City of South San Francisco on real property are payable, and shall become delinquent
at the same time and in the same proportionate amounts and bear the same proportionate penalties for de!in~uency.
Said bonds shall be signed by the treasurer of the City of South San Francisco and countersigned by the clerk,
who ~11 a~ix thereto shall bear the engraved, printed or litho~aphed signature of the treasurer, in place of a
signature by hand; said bonds shall be substantially in the form set forth in said "Improvement Bond Act. of 1915'~
as amended.
The interest coupons attached to each of said bonds and evidencing the interest to accrue thereon
shall be numbered consecutively and shall be substantially in the following forml to-wit:

The City of South San Francisco, California, will pay the bearer hereof, on the second day ,
19 , $~ ~em at the office of the City Treasurer, said sum being the semi-annual interest
due on Improvement Bond No. , Series No. W.
City Treasurer.
Section3. Said City Clerk ~hall forthwoth deliver said bonds bo the Bank of America National
Trust and ~av~s Association, the assignee of said L. C. Smith, in satisfaction of the balance unpaid upon
said assessment.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
