HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1337-1948 RESOLUTION NO. 1337 · A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ~0 RECREATION · B~.JILDINGS IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAID BUILDINGS BEING NNOWN AS THE ELM COURT BUILDING AND THE M~ORIAL PARK BUILDING. WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisc° did, on the 5th day of April, 19&8, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for the construction of three recreat2on build- ings in said city at the places shown upon the plans for said work. RESOLVED that said City Council hereby rejects all proposals or bids submitted by any other person, persons or corporation, except the bid submitted by Monson Bros., and hereby awards the contract for the construc tion of the Elm Court Recreation Building and the Memorial Park Recreation Building to the lowest responsible bidder for said two buildings, to-wit: Monson Bros., at the total price named in the bid of said Monson Bros., which total price included both alternates specified in said bid, to-wit: Sixty-Three Thousand Five Hundred Nine Four and No/lO0 Dollars ($63,59A.00). The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of South San Francisco are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract for said work which contract shall comply with the terms and provisions of the resolution of the City Council directing the ~lication of'notice inviting sealed proposals for said work, which resoletion wa adopted by said City Council on the 15th day of March, 1948. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced ~d adopted by the City Council ~ of the City of South San Francisco this 27th day of April 1948, by the ~ollowing vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Chas.
