agents, hereinafter .referred to as the permitteet is hereby granted permission to Construct, reconstruct, maintain,
operate, repair and/or remove a water pipe line (not exceeding 60 inches inside diameter)across $outhwood Drive west
of .El Casino Real, City of South San Francisco, California.
This permit is granted subJ.ec't to the following conditions:
1. Said pipe line shall be laid below the finished surface of said street to a minimum depth of two
feet; provi.ded, .however, that apl~trtenances .may be constructed flush with the surface of the roadways.
2. During construction of. the pi~e Line, the pormittee shall maintain suitable bridges ewer the trench
to' take care of traffic. The pormittee s.ha!l hold the permitter free and harmless from all claims for damages or injury
to pore'one or property resulting from accident due to the construction, reconstruction or re,air of said pipe line along
said street. If any exist'ing sewers,, water pipes or other structures of other parties laid in said street bec~me injured
due to any aoperations of the permittee under the terms of this permit, they shall be repaired immediately, by the permittee
at its own expense.
3. After completing Construction or other work on s.aid pipe line along said street] the permittee shall
restore the roadways to their previous condition to the satisfaction of the permitter.
T hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted, by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco, this lOth da~ of May, 19&8, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boid?, Chas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emili~ Cortesi.
