A RESOLUTION A~NDINO SECTION IYa OF THE PERSONNEL HULES
AND REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO
RESOLVED by the City 6ouncil of t he City of South San FranciSco as follows:
Hale IVa of the Personnel ~Ules and Regulations of the City of South San Francisco is amended so that
said Rule IVa, as amended, shall read as follows:
Section 1. No person shall be eligible for an appointment as a policeman who is under the age of twenty-
one (21) years, or who is'over the age of thirty-five (35) years, or is less than five (5) feet nine (9) inches in
height, or is more than six (6) feet three (3) inches in height, or who weighs less than one hundred sixty-five (165)
~ounds, stripped, or who weighs more than two hundred (200) pounds, stripped.
Section 2. No person shall be eligible for an appointment' as a firman who is under the age of twenty-one
(21) years or is over the age of thirty-five (35) years, or is less than five (~}~ feet seven (?) inches in height, or
weighs less than one hundred fifty (150) pounds, stripped.
Section 3. No perwon shall be eligible for appointment in the competitive service who has not been a bona
fide resident of the City of South SanFrancisco for eighteen (18) months next pr~eeding the date of filing his applica-
tion.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the §ity Council
of the City of South San Francisco, This 17th day of May, 1%8, by the following vote:
