RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
A SANITARY S~ER IN MISSION ROAD.'
~,~EREAS the City Council of the City of South S~n Francisco did, in open session, on the 7th day of
September, 19&8, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals bids for doing the se?~er construction work
provided for in the resolution adopted on the 18th day of August, 19~, which work is hereinafter described, to which
resolution reference is hereby made for further particulars.
RESOLVED that said city council hereby rejects all said proposals or bids, except that next hereinafter men-
tioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder, to-dO_t: L. C. S~.th, and
the prices named in his bid, to-wit:

l manhole 175.00
9 6 inch by A inch 22.50
$897.50
The work, for which t he contract is hereby awarded to said successful bidder, consists of the following:
The construction of a sanitary sewer in Mission Road in said city, beginning at a manhole located 528 feet
westerly from the manhole located at the intersection of Grand Avenue and said Mission ~oad and extending westerly
four hundred (dO0) feet in said Mission Road, approximately to the corporate boundary line of said city.
All said work will be done at the location shown upon the plans for said work and strictly in accordance with
the plans and specifications adopted on the 18th day of August, 19~8, for said work. All said work and the materials
used in connection with said work shall be performed and h~rnished under the direction and to the satisfaction of the
Works Engineer of said city.
~he ~ayor of said city and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed, in the name of said city and
under its ~eal, to execute the contract herein authorized.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco this 7th day of September, 19~8, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sand, Emilio Cortesi.
Noes, ,~ Councilmen None
Absent, Councilman Chas. K. Elder
