IN ~E M~TTER OF THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF
SPRUCE AVEN~, IN HI~! SCHOOL PARK TERRACE.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, in the
County of San Mateo, State of California, as follows: '
Section 1. It is the intention of said City, Council to order the following described portion of Spruce
Avenue, a public street in the 8ity of South San Francisco, to be vacated:
BeginninE at a point on the westerly line of ~ot 12, Block 1, as shown on the amended map of
"High School Park Terrace" recorded in Book 26 of Naps at page Ag, San Mateo County records, which
point bears South 27° 15' 51" ~%st 19.25 feet fro~ the northwesterly corner of said Lot 12; thence,
along the easterly line of Spruce Avenue, North 27° 15' 51" East ~&.&3 feet; thence, continuing along
the easterly and southeasterly line of Spruce Avenue, North 15° 3A' ~0" east 328.16 feet; thence,
~along~a~bur~e to the right ~th a radius of 100 feet, an arc distance of 7~.55 feet; thence North 60°
3~' 59" east 1A7.68 feet; thence, along a curve to the right with a radius of 30 feet, an arc distance
of 2.37 feet; thence, leaving the southeasterly line of Sprdce Avenue, South 65° 07' ~.Test 50.86 feet;
thence along a curve to the right ~ith a radius of 100 feet, an arc distance of 36.30 feet; thenceA
along a curve to the left with a radius of 60 feet, an arc dist~mce of 26.53 feet; thence south 60~
3A' 59" ~;~est 57.38 feet; thence, along a curve to the left with~a radius of &O feet, an arc distance
of 31.~2 feet; thence South 15° 3A' ~0" ~st &l~.~O feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. Said City Council hereby fixes Monday, the 15th day of November, 19A8, at the hour of
8:00 o,m., in the City Hall of said City of South San Francisco, Co~mty of San ~teo, State of California, at the ti~e
and place for hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the vacation of said portion of said public street.
Section ?. Notices of the passage of this resolution of intention, ~iving the time and place of hearing
thereon, sh~ll be conspicuously posted alon~ the ~ine of said public street, at not more than three hundred (300).feet
in distance apart, and not less than three (3) in all.
Section A. The action hereby taken by said City Co~mcil is in pursuance of that ~ertain act of the
leEislature of th~ State of California, known as the "Etreet Vacation Act of 19Al", the same being Division 9, Part
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State Of California
SectiOn 5. This resolution of intention shall be published by one (1) insertion in the South San
Francisco Journal, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in said City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco, this 18th day of October, 19A8, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Chas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi.
