HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1394-194832'0 RE~OLUTION NO. 139L A RESOL~r~ION ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF SPRUCE AVEN~E, IN HIGH .SCHOOL PARK T~RRACE, IN THE CITY OF SOOTH SAN FRANCISCO ~HEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 18th day of October, 19L8, pass a resolution declaring its intention to order the portion of Spruce A~enue, in High School Park Terrace,. a public street in said city, hereinafter described, to be vacated~ Reginning at a point on the westerly line of Lot 12, Block 1, as shown on the amended map of High School Park Terrace recorded in Book 26 of Maps at page L9, San Marco County records, which point bears South 270 15' 51" West 19.25 feet from the nothwesterly corner of said Lot 12; thence along the easterly line of Spruce Avenue, North 27° 15' 51" East ~4.L3 feet; thence, continuing along the easterly and southeasterly line of Spruce Avenue, North 15° 3~' ~0" east 328.16 feet; thence along a curve to the right with a radius of 106 feet, an arc distance of 78.55 feet; thence North ~0° 3L' 59" east 1~7.68 feet; thence, along a curve to the right with a radius of 30 feet, an-arc distance of 2.37 feet; thence, leaving the southeasterly line of Spruce Avenue, South 65° 07' West 50.86 feet; thence alon~ a curve to the right with a radius of 100 feet, an arc distance of 36.30 feet; thence, along a curve to the left with a radius of 60 feet, an arc distance of 26.53 feet; thence South 60° 3~' 59" West 57.38 feet; thence, along a curve to the left with a radius of LO feet, an arc distance of 31.~2 feet; thence South 15° 3~' LO" West ~14.LO feet to the point of beginning; and . WHEREAS said resolution of intention was published in the South San Francisco Jou~aA1, in the manner and form toe, ired by law, and notices of the passage of said resolution giving the time and place of hearing thereon, were conspicuously posted along, the entire lihe of said street not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and not less than three (3) in all, reference being hereby made to the affidavit of Henry L. Schweining and the affidavit of Myra R. Spangler, which affidavits are now on file in said matter in the 9ffice of the City Clerk of said city, and are hereby made a part hereof; and ~4~EA~ in said resolution, Monday, the 15th day of November, 19~8, at the hour of 8:00 p.m., in the City Hall of said City of ~uth ~an Francisco, County of San Marco, State cf California, were fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the vacation of said portion of said public street; and ~EREAS no person has objected to the vacation of said portioh of said public street; and .~4EREAS said City Council of said City of South San Francisco, has determined and does hereby determine, that said portion of said public street is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes; NOW, THEREF~E, said City Council does hereby order that said portion of said public street be, and the same hereby is vacated. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 15th day of November, 19~8, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilman Noes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Ohas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi. None Absent, Councilmen None Attest: City Clerk
