RESOLUTION NO. 1%36
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the area of land hereinafter
described, the same being a public highway, be and the same hereby is designated as Dubuque Avenue. The land
hereinbefore referred to is situate in the City of South gan Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of Calif-
ornia, and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the northerly line of Grand Avenue at its intersection ~ith the wester-
ly right of w~y linc'of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, which bears South 7A° 31' 22" East
325 feet andNorth 89° AS' 28" East 110 feet more or less 'from the most southerly corner of lot 1,
block 145 as delineated on that certain map entitled: '~outh San Francisco, San Mateo Co. Cal. Plat
No. 1", which map was recorded March 1, 1892 in Book 2 of Maps at page 52 thereof, San Mateo County
Records; thence North 37° 28' 58" East kO feet; thence around a curve to the left having a radius of
11,50A.66 feet a distance of lO.TA feet; thence North 37° 28' 58" East 18.76 feet; thence around a curve
to the left having a radius of 265 feet a distance of 168.38 feet; thence North 1° Ok' 35" East 2A2.53
feet; thence around a curve to the right ~aving a radius cf 970 feet a distance of 357.18 feet; thence
North 22° 10' 28" East 776.61 feet; thence North 25° 59' 3A" East 80 feet; thence around a cur~e to the
right having a radius of 2~00 feet a distance of lOAT.A8 feet; thence North 50° 59' 58" East 299.88
feet; thence around a curve to the right having a radius of A7~ feet a distance of 302.73 feet; thence
north 87° 5~' iA" East 222.65 feet; thence around a ~urve to the left having a radius of 97 feet a
distance of 73.51 feet; thence North ~4o 28' 58" East 20.80 feet; thence around a curve to the upper
right having a radius of 32 feet a distance of A6.3A feet to an intersection with the southerly line of
Butler Avenue; thence North 52° 31' 52" West 90 feet more or less to an intersection with the westerly
li~e of a concrete return of a highway leading from Butler Avenue in a southerly direction toward Grand
Avenue; thence around a curve to the right having a radius of 50 feet a distance of kO feet more or less
to the beginning of a curve to the right having a radius of 66.91 feet a distance of 50.71 feet to a point
12 feet distant measured at right angles westerly from California State Highway '~" Line at their station
11-00.83 in South San Francisco; thence southerly parallel with and at a distance of 12feet measured at
right angles to said '"R" Line to its intersection with Grand Avenue; thence North 89° &8' 28" East along
the northerly line of Grand Avenue to the point of beginning kO feet ~ore or less: The above street
includes all highway area between the ~esterly curb as constructed by the California State Highway and
the property lines on the easterly side thereof as well as those curved areas of irregular size constructed
and protected with concrete safety curbs by the State Highway.
~ I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco this 18th day of April, 19A9, by the following vote:
