A RESOLUTION A?ARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A FIRE DEPARrlPv?ENT S~STATION ~E~T OF EL CA/~INO REAL
IN ~HE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
~.~EREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session, on the 16th day of
May, 1929, publicly open, examine and declare all bids or proposals submitted for the construction of a fire depart-
ment substation west of E1 Camino Real in said city;
RESOL~ZED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said city council hereby rejects
all said bids or proposals, except that next hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for the construction
of said fire department substation to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: S & Q Construction Co., at the price named
in its bid, to-wit:
Base bid: Thirty-two thousand three hundred and twenty dollars (~32,320.00)
The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby directed, in the name of said city and under its corporate seal,
to execute the contract hereby awarded.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco this 16th day of May, 19A9, by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Victor Boido, Chas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi.
Noes; Councilmen None
Absent: Councilmen None
