RESOL%TION TO REMOVE ~EED$
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows:
Said City Council hereby determines that weeds, which ~ill obtain such a large growth as to becom
a fire menace when dry,' are now growing upon streets in the City of South San Francisco, and declares said weeds
to be a public nuisance, which must be abated by their removal. Otherwise, said weeds will be removed and the
nuisance abated by the city authorities, and the cost and expenses of such removal shall be assessed upon all
lots of land in front of which such weeds exist.
Said city council hereby fixes Monday, the 20th day of Ju~e, 19~9, at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m.:
and the council chamber in the city hall of said city as the time and place -,hen and ~here any and all persons
having any objections to the proposed removal of said weeds may hppear before said city council and show cause
why the work of said proposed removal of weeds should not be c~rried out in accordance with this resolution.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this resolution to be published by two (2) insertions
in The Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in said city.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 6th day of June, 19~9, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Chas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko, AdQlph Sani, Emilio Cortesi.
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen None
