RESOLUTION NO. 1479
A RESOLUTION AUE. NDING RESOLUTION NO. 13,75 ENTITLED: "AN ORDER
PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROVE~T BONDS, PRES-
CRIBING THE DENOMINATIONS OF SUCH BONDS AND THE INTEREST
COUPONS ATTACHED", ADOPTED ON THE 18TH DAY OF J~LY, 19&9.
R~SOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that Resolution No. 1475 entitled
"AN ORDER PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPHOVMN~T BONDS, PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATIONS OF SUCH BONDS
AND THE INTEREST COUPONS ATTACHED", adopted on the 18th day of July, 19&9, be, and the same hereby is amended as
follows:
The fourth paragraph of said resolution, which commences on the first page of said resolution shall,
as amended, read as follows;
'~EREAS, on the 30th day of June, 19£9, said superintendent of streets filed with the Clerk of said
city council a complete list of all the assessments unpaid under said assessment upon the respective assessment or
diagram numbers thereon, whereupon said city clerk gave notice of the filing of said list, having fixed Monday, the
18th day of July, 19&9, at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m., -as the time when igte~ested persons may appear before ,said
city council and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown upon
said list, said time being that Of the regular meeting of said city council; and it appearing from the affida-vit of
Daniel J. Hyland, City Clerk of said city, which affidavit is now on file in the office of said city clerk, that
said notice was posted as required by law; and it likewise appearing from the ~ffidavit of Myra R. Spangler, now on
file in the office of the city clerk that said notice was published as required by law; and
Section 1 of said resolution, commencing on page 5 of said resolution, shall, as amended, read as
follows:
Section 1. Said bonds be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments in the amount of Ninety-
four Thousand, Four Hundred Ten Dollars ($9~,&10.00), in accordance with the provisions of said "Improvement Act of
1911", and the amendments thereto, and of the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", and the amendments thereto, under and
pursuant to the resolutions, notices and proceedings duly adopted and taken by said city council. Said bonds shall
be called "Improvement Bonds" and shall be dated July 18, 19~9, and bear interest at the rate of five (5) percent per
annum, commencing on the 30th day of June, 19&9, and shall be one hundred and five (105) in number and in the following
. denominations.
