RESOLUTION OF-INTENTION RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation in the County of san Mateo, State oi' Calizo~.nia, as Kollows: Section 1. It is ~the intention of said City Council to order the following described portion c HIGHLAND Avenue, a public street in the City of ~outh San Francisco, to be vacated. Said portion of Highl. and Avenue consists of all that certain parcel of land situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of ~an Mateo, ~ate ol' CaliKornia, and described as follows: Beginning at a point on the northwesterly line of Highland Avenue, said point bears South 53° 19' 32" West 7o&7 feet from the easterly corner of Lot &, Block 7 as shown on the map of "Sterling Terrace No. 2" recorded in Volume 30 of Maps at ~age 2~, records of San Mateo County, California thence from said point of beginning along the northwesterly, westerly and southwesterly line of Highland Avenue, along a curve to the right with a radius of 50 feet, tangent to a line bearing South 53o 19' 32" W a distance of 36.14 feet; thence along a reverse curve to the left with a~radius of 50 feet a distance of 156.28 feet; thence along a reverse curve to the right with a radius Of 50 feet a distance of 36.14. feet to a point which bears North &2° 56' 28" W 2 feet from the easterly corner of Lot 8 in said Block 7 of Sterling Terrace No. 2; thence No, th 42° 56' 28" ~est 38.25 feet; thence along a curve to the right with a radius of 50 feet, tangent to the preceding course, a ~Astance of 8&.O1 feet; thence North 53° 19' 32" East 38.25 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. Said City Council hereby fixed Monday, the 19th day of September, 19d9, at the hour 8 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City of South San Francisco, County of San Mat State of California, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in~ or objecting to, the vacatio of said portion of said public ~treet. Section 3. Notices of the passage of this resolution of intention, giving the time and place o hearing thereon, shall be conspicuously posted along the line of said public street at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and not less than three (3) in all. Section ~. The action hereby tsken by said City Council is in pursuance of that certain act of the Legislature of the State of California known as the "Street Vacation Act of 19Al", the same being Division 9, Part 3 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. Section 5. This resolution of intention shall be published by one (1) insertion in the South S Francisco Journal, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of South San Franc I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution w~.s regularly introduced and adopted at a regula meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 15th day of August, 19A9, by the followin vote: Ayes, Councilmen V.
