A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE RETURNS OF ~E SPECIAL ELECTION FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF THE UNINCCRPORATED TERRITORY KNOWN AS COUNTRY CLUB
PARK TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
~EA~ the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 15th day of August, 19&9,
adopt a resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CALLING A
SPECIA~ ELECTION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF THE UNINCORPORATED TEP~ORY KNOWN AS COUNTRY CLU~ PARK TO THE CITY OF'
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO", pursuant to the provisions of that certain act of the Legislature of the State of Californi~
entitled: "AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE ALTERATION OF THE BOUNDARIE~ OF hND FOR THE ANNEXATION OF ~ITOR! ~
MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS, FOR THE INCORPORATION OF SUCH ANNEXED TERRITORY IN AND AS A PART THEREOF, AND FOR THE
DISTRICTING, GO~T AND MUNICIPAL CONTROL OF S~H ANNEXED TERRITORY", Statutes of 1913, page 587, for the
annexation to said City of South San Francisco of the unincorporat~ territory in said resolution described; and
~EA~, in said resolution, said city council fixed the 20th day of September, 19&9, as the date
for holding said special election; and
~HEKEAS said special election~was held in said territory on said date, and the returns of said
special election had been presented by the city clerk of said city to sai~ city eouncil;
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said city council hereby
finds and determines as follows:
The whole number of votes castat said special election was fifty-seven (57); the whole number of
votes cast in favor of accepting the propositibn to annex said territory to said City of South San ~ancisco was
twenty seven (27); the whole number of votes cast against said proposition was thirty (30);
Said proposition h~s been rejected.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco this 3rd day of October, 1929, by the following
